Tracee Ellis Ross was in the White House today to watch her mother Diana Ross get the Medal of Freedom and she asked everyone in the room to do the Mannequin Challenge. Those people include herself, her mom, Tom Hanks with his wife Rita Wilson, Ellen DeGeneres with her wife Portia De Rossi, Michael Jordan, Vin Scully, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Bill Gates and Frank Gehry. You might wonder why I didn’t include Robert De Niro, the first person we saw in it, could be because it looks like he didn’t want to be part of it.
When it comes to the rest of the challenge, there is no way anyone can top this…or can they?

We are used to seeing Kelly Clarkson being very animated, but she stood still for several seconds to take part in the Mannequin Challenge all by herself. She is as good at that as she is at singing all of hits. Heck, I really thought she really was mannequin. Didn’t you?

One of the funnest things about the celebrity Mannequin Challenges is that you get to see the behind the scenes of TV sets, red carpets and so much more. Kristen Wiig is returning to Saturday Night Live this week and the NBC show shot a Mannequin Challenge to promote her appearance on it. Leave it to her Ghostbusters co-star Leslie Jones to bust it up!
Plus it is really cool to see how big and small their set is when it is full of people before the show goes live from New York.

As you know the Mannequin Challenge sweeps my clouds away, so imagine the joy I felt when I saw that Sesame Street did one. What makes this one so cool, is that fact that you are taken behind the scenes and get to see how this show is made. In fact, at the end you get to see Big Bird unmasked. If you look closely you can see a man wearing just his legs.
If this doesn’t bring a smile to your face, then you are an Oscar the Grouch1

We have seen celebrities do Mannequin Challenge at Comedy Shows, red carpets, behind the scenes of television shows, on planes while in labor and in the locker room, but Garth Brooks asked his friend in low places to take it to a whole new level of awesome. The singer made his band and crew freeze in place for a few seconds during a guitar solo and it is as epic as what he was strumming.
Just when you think someone can’t top all the other Mannequin Challenges, here comes someone who does exactly that.
