As soon as Lady Gaga’s song Born This Way was released everyone said that it sounded a lot like Madonna’s Express Yourself. Well now the Queen of Pop is responding and she is doing it in a big way. While rehearsing for her MDNA tour in Tel Aviv, someone recorded her mashing up her classic with one of Gaga’s biggest hits. Hearing the two songs together there is no denying how much they sound like.
But it didn’t stop there, it appears she is going from Express Yourself this Way into her song She’s Not Me. Read the lyrics to the song and see if you think the song was a premonition of what was to be?
It looks like we have a Pop War in the works and I think age is going to beat out beauty in this cat fight.
Madonna was interviewed on the Today Show by Harry Smith and he asked her about Lourdes being caught smoking. She told him, “(I) wasn’t very happy, but honestly, I don’t think I’m as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher. It’s hard — every day is a negotiation. But cigarette smoking I’m not very fond of — for anyone.” Then he asked her about her being filmed with a cigarette and she said it was a prop and there is a difference. Actually Madonna it is the subliminal message that smoking is cool. We didn’t know it was a prop until you told us. If you don’t like cigs, then don’t glamorize one as an accessory.
Now when it comes to the rest of the interview, boy did she come off as the biggest bitch out there. Is it hard for her to be herself? I would say so because it has to be extremely tough to be such a bitch. With the failures of her movie W.E. and her latest CD MDNA, she no longer earns the right to be such a Queen B. When she is putting out hits like she used then she can go back to be the stuck up with that fake English accent.
Madonna’s movie W.E. bombed at the box office, she is doing everything she can to sell her new album MDNA that came out last week and now she is marketing her own scent. After watching the commercial or Truth or Dare, I think the ads smells more like desperation than the floral scent it is supposed to.
I think her problem is still living her heyday, instead of accepting those days are behind her and she needs to grow into the woman she is now. You know a 53 year old mother of three.
Madonna has released a sneak peek of the fifth single from her upcoming album MDNA and it’s called I F*cked Up. I am not sure who she wrote the song for, but I will take it as the long overdue apology for Swept Away.
Madonna has a new album coming out so that means she is working on music videos and a tour for it. It appears that the singer is now suffering for her art because she posted pictures you will never see in Vogue.The singer shared some images on Facebook of some of the injuries she has gotten prepping to hit the road and filming the video for her new song. I guess we can Cherish the fact that this Girl Gone Wild can still be as Wild as she was when she was just a young Lucky Star.
