All week we have listened to Madonna talk about her movie and being her arrogant self that I completely forgot what an amazing musical performer she is. That was until her halftime show at the Super Bowl. She rocked that football field in a way only she can. I just wish she didn’t do her new song that sounds like it should be on the 1983 Valley Girl soundtrack instead of an album in 2012.
Madonna is continuing her bitchfest, I mean promo tour, for her feature directorial bomb, I mean film, and one of the news outlets she talked to was Newsweek. When she was asked about her upcoming tour she said, “So start saving your pennies now,†adding, “People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I’m worth it.†In these tough economic times that is what you say to people who are struggling to find work or keep the jobs they have. Get off your high horse and come back down to reality. Am I going to deny that she puts on a good show? No she puts one rockin’ show that was worth every penny I spent* on it when I saw her for her last tour. *I didn’t spend anything on the tickets because my friend gave me a ticket for free.
Also on the price of her tickets if her music was as good as it was before she developed a British accent, they might be worth a high value. But let’s be real her last few albums have not been as good thus her ticket sale values should go down to reflect that.
In my opinion the only artists that would be worth that much money would be The Beatles if all four of them reunited, since two of them are no longer with us.
Madonna is doing the press rounds for her film W.E. and one of the outlets she talked to was MTV. The interviewer asked her, “Do you still have ambition as an actress?” The woman who starred in one of the worst movies ever made (if not the worst) shook her head and said, “No.” So he asked “why not?” and she responded with “I like directing better.” adding, “It’s my voice. Especially if I write it. If I write it and I direct it, then it’s my voice. If I am the actor, I’m just a pawn.” I wonder if she will change her voice after her first feature film doesn’t do well. According to Box Office Mojo the movie has only made $284,984 in The UK since Jan. 20th to today, in fact it only made an average of $1,657 in 172 theaters it is playing in there. Ouch.
As someone who sat through all of Swept Away, I am so happy she gave up acting because a movie like that should never ever be repeated. That movie was so bad, I wish I was a Razzie member that year just so I could vote for it for every category even if it wasn’t applicable. I would not even wish for my worst enemy to see it.
Madonna used to have the scariest muscular arms because she used to work out a lot. Today when Anderson Cooper asked her how much she works out on his daytime talk show, and she said she had to cut down because she has four kids and five jobs. To her cutting down means working out for 90 minutes 5 days a week, but to me that is just the opposite.
So what are those five jobs she says she has? Singer, “actress”, failed director, clothing designer and ???. Maybe now that W.E. bombed at the box office, she will be able to add another half hour to exercise regimen?
You know what I think is interesting when she had those muscular arm, she loved to wear short sleeves and show them off. Now that her arms probably have more meat on them, she is always seems to be wearing long sleeves. I wish she would do the opposite instead.

Madonna attended a screening of her movie W.E. that actually got an Oscar nomination and her dress needed two helpers. Even though the film got a nom for Costume Design, it looks likes the gown she wore will not get any type of awards. I mean when a dress requires someone to manage the train and another one to fluff the sleeves, it becomes a loser in my book.
