When you think of Kelly Clarkson, she think she is as sweet as sweet tea. Back when she was 18 years old, she told Ellen DeGeneres she did something that was not sweet.
She went on a date with a man, who was a few inches shorter than her, and he spent over an hour talking about his height. There was only so much she could take, so after an hour she went to the bathroom and left the restaurant without saying goodbye to him.
You can say their date came up short.
Granted, we have all Ghosted someone because no free meal is worth all of that.
Remington Alexander Blackstock isn’t even two weeks old and he has already done his first photoshoot. His mother Kelly Clarkson shared some of those photos with us, and says he has “#charmfordays” and “#watchoutladies.” She ain’t kidding, he is a real cutie. Just like his older sister, River Rose.
If they get her singing ability, the Rock World is in trouble! Hey maybe American Idol will be back by then and they can win it just like their mom.

I remember the magic we all felt during the first season of American Idol and watching Kelly Clarkson win it all. But as the show went on, it lost that loving feeling. So much so that this is the final season.
Now almost 15 years later, Clarkson is about to give birth as the show that made her a star is about to die. Before both of those things happen, she graced the Idol stage one last time and sang her song Piece By Piece. A song with so much emotion and heart, that not only wasn’t she able to complete the song because she broke down crying, so did several of the judges, the contestants, the audience and me. It was like that scene in The Natural when Robert Redford hit it out of the park. Instead of sparks raining down, it was tears.
This is American Idol. Too bad the current singers aren’t creating a moment like this. Maybe if they were, the show wouldn’t be ending. But it is, piece by piece.
Kelly Clarkson has been hiding something, and during a concert tonight in LA she accidentally revealed her secret. After an unusually emotional performance of one of her songs, she blurted out, “I’m pregnant!” Realizing what she did, she told the cheering audience, “I want to apologize to my husband, but that was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or something. I just honestly so hormonal today.” Then she added, “Nothing is wrong, everything is great. It’s whoop, whoop.” She ended her surprise announcement, to all, with, “I haven’t vomited yet! That’s a win y’all.” It is things like this, that even if she wasn’t the original American Idol, she would still be the original American Idol.
This is her second child with husband, Brandon Blackstock. Together they have a 14 month old daughter, River Rose, who I bet can’t wait to meet her baby sister or brother sometime around the new year.
Kelly Clarkson was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late show gave her an assignment to do. They asked her to sing Tinder profiles. As we know, the original American Idol has an amazing way of making covers her own, and now we are learning she can do the same with dating profiles. Heck, she is so good, I even want to date the guy with the foot fetish.
I wonder how much it would cost to have her sing my dating profile because I need all the help I can get. I just wish my cat didn’t freak out when she heard Clarkson’s high notes.
