You know that awwwdorable loving couple, who’ve been married for 44 years, in those Swiffer commercials, well Morty and Lee Kaufman were featured on Today with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb yesterday and we got to know more about them. If you thought the 90 year groom and his 91 year old bride were precious in those ads, they are even more amazing in the interview. The former-teacher and her husband were not looking for fame, but they found it when a casting director friend of his daughter asked her if she knew any couples over 70 that might be interested in doing the ads. Well she did and you know what happens next.
Thankfully that casting director asked his daughter because they are the perfect couple to be in those advertisements. Something that was solidified when Hoda asked them what is the secret to their long marriage, and Morty simply responded by saying “You gotta love each other. You got to let each other know that their being loved.” Then he added, “I don’t go to bed, at night, without saying ‘Lee, I love you,’ and she doesn’t go to bed without saying ‘I love you too.'” That response is the most perfect way I have ever heard love expressed and I am not sweeping his sentiments under the rug. Even with a Swiffer!
BTW can you believe that they are in their 90’s because they seem so much younger in every aspect of it all?
Today on Today with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, the two women finally kissed on the lips. Not on their own smackers, but they went lip-to-lip with some strange plastic thingy they got from Japan that is supposed to tone your face.
Not only is it funny to see what those things did to their mouths, but it is hysterical watching them trying to talk and drink with it inserted in their mouth. And yes, Kathie Lee does make a blow job joke about it because she wouldn’t be herself if she didn’t.
Even though they saved the Friday Funny until the end of the segment, I think they actually started out with it.
Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford don’t hold back on The Today Show and today they went below the belt (literally) with their comments. The two hosts were talking about an article that describes what a woman does by how she handles the hair down there. So as Hoda was reading the descriptions, Kathie Lee asked what she was and she said she is a landing strip. Well Kathie Lee just wouldn’t let it drop. Especially when the next story they did was about the best airports to meet men. Talk about a perfect tie-in. Well after that story Hoda finally got Kathie Lee to admit how she grooms down there and Gifford trims the hedges but doesn’t pull anything out any weeds. Now that the ladies talked about their hairy vajayjays, they asked the other women who work on the show how they maintain their bushes and Sarah said she has hardwood floors.
That is all I am going to say because there is nothing more that can be said about the matter.
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb were guests on Anderson Live and they had their fill of double entendres on the show today. First the two ladies got him drunk and then he read from Fifty Shades of Chicken. Anderson Cooper’s reading of the cookbook was so serious that there was nothing sizzling about it. He couldn’t cook a chicken with that storytelling even it is was already done. What made that part of their conversation so funny were Kathie Lee and Hoda’s expressions as he taught them how to make cooking a chicken steamy.
Now you would think it would stop there, and you would be wrong. The Today show hosts decided to fill the crack in the middle of his forehead aka eye cleavage with Dermaflage and it was too hot for daytime TV. As they were preparing to put the filler where it need to go, Hoda said “This is the filler…Put it in the crack.” To which Anderson responded with, “A phrase I’ve never used.” Then when they were almost done and going to commercial break, Kathie Lee didn’t want to be left out so she said “When we come back we will see if it filled your crack.” Sadly that video was not included, but do you really care because that is not the crack you want to see if they filled.
It is moments like this one that make me sad that his show won’t be back for a third season.
Kathie Lee Gifford was a guest on Late Night and Jimmy Fallon challenged her to a game of Zoo Tunes. The object of the game is one person picks the sound of an animal from a hat like and owl or a cat, then they pick a number that has the song they have to sing to the sound of that animal like Rolling Stones’ Satisfaction and their partner has to guess what it is. The game is so much fun that I am going to suggest to my friends that we play at their next game night. Although I will be careful not say that line that the NBC late night host said to the morning one because it will get me in more trouble than I already am.
