Last week, when Justin Timberlake released his song Can’t Stop the Feeling for the Trolls soundtrack, and it was also announced in the press release that he is also singing True Colors with Anna Kendrick on the soundtrack. Today at Cannes, the two of them performed the song live for an audience. I think they did Cyndi Lauper proud because they definitely blew a lot of people away including me.

Not only does he star in the upcoming animated movie Trolls, he is also working on the soundtrack. This is the first track from it and he will be singing on at least one other song. The album will also feature him singing Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors with Anna Kendrick. James Corden, Icona Pop, Zooey Deschanel and Christopher Mintz-Plasse will also be featured on it singing covers of some of the biggest songs from the last few decades.
But forget that I got that sunshine in my pocket and got the good soul in my feet after listening to Can’t Stop the Feeling. Forget Timberlake bringing sexy back, he’s bringing music back! We just have to wait until September 23rd for them to release the soundtrack. No worries will be listening to this tune over and over until then.
