In 2006, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet swapped homes for a vacation and found love in the movie The Holiday. At least, I think that is how it ended. I don’t remember because the film was boring and forgettable.
Or so I thought because The Sun is reporting that the recently unretired Diaz, Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black are all returning to do a sequel, which is expected to start filming next year.
Will holiday with The Holiday 2? Or do you think the movie needs a permanent vacation?
UPDATE: Nancy Meyers, who wrote and directed the original film, denies that there is a sequel in the works. She wrote, “So many DM’s about this – sorry but it’s not true. ❤️”
But then, the article didn’t mention that she was attached to the movie. So maybe the studio is working around her?
NBC has spent a lot of time building up Dick Wolf’s Chicago shows that they have completely forgotten about the Law & Order franchise. Looks like that is all about to change because yesterday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the CBS show debuted the trailer for Jude Law & Order. It looks like it will be the biggest new show of the year.
Who wouldn’t want to watch him playing every role on the show? I know I do.
Plus, who knew he could do better New Yawk accent than most New Yawkers, including me.
Last week, Jimmy Fallon asked his Tonight Show audience to send in pictures of their kids making funny faces and yesterday it was explained why. He had Jude Law and him recreate the cute funny faces. While they were awwwdorable on the little ones, they weren’t as cute on the adults. But they were still fun to see@
