Kevin Bacon and John Lithgow get Footloose in a dressing room!
November 10th, 2016 under James Corden, John Lithgow, Kevin Bacon. [ Comments: none ]

John Lithgow was a scheduled guest on The Late Late Show yesterday, but James Corden got a surprise when he introduced him on the show. That is because when he called for the actor in his green room, Kevin Bacon opened the door and took the spotlight from him.
But the real spotlight belonged to the man from 3rd Rock from the Sun when he told his former Footloose co-star, “No dancing! How many times do I have to tell you, no more dancing?” The answer is once ever 32 years, that’s how many!
Now when it comes to why Bacon was there, turns out his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, was also a guest on the CBS show. But unlike Lithgow, she put her husband in his place. She is used to Bacon being another part of the pig, you know a ham!

John Lithgow uses his Thrid Rock from the Sun to act out The Dictator
May 22nd, 2012 under Jimmy Fallon, John Lithgow. [ Comments: none ]

John Lithgow was a guest on NBC’s Late Night yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a game of Charades. When he got The Dictator as a clue, he put his hand over his crotch and wiggled one of his fingers around to act out the first syllable in the second word in a way that would not be Footloose approved. As soon as he did it looked so real that the late night host jumped out and censored it before the network could. Seriously how realistic did his finger look? I am so happy he got that clue because I don’t think any one else playing would’ve done what he did.

BTWF roles: John Lithgow in Obsession
March 21st, 2011 under Before They Were Famous, John Lithgow. [ Comments: none ]

Before John Lithgow was pulling Barney in to his life on How I Met Your Mother, he was pushing a woman out of his life in Obsession. He looks exactly the same now as he did when he was 29 in that 1976 movie.
