For over 40 years, Joan Jett has been singing that she doesn’t give a damn about her Bad Reputation. However, the singer, 62, does care about the reputation she would get if she didn’t get the COVID-19 vaccine. So today she went and got it.
Now, she can go back to not caring about her Bad Reputation.
On Sunday, Billy Idol and Joan Jett performed at the Super Bowl Tailgate Party with Miley Cyrus. At some point, the two rockers got together and took this photo.
As soon as I saw it, I thought they look more like Miley’s parents than Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus do. Then I thought, wouldn’t they be the bitchingest grandparents ever. Look at the 65-year-old Rebel yeller and the 62-year-old woman who doesn’t give a damn about her bad reputation still wearing leather. Whose grandparents still do that and also look so sexy that I want to f*ck them both? Let me be in their cradle of love. I can’t think of any other sexagenarians who do that. Can you?
I know, I need to stop putting dimes in the jukebox and using their song titles in this post.
On a jukebox note. Have you ever played the game of adding “underneath the sheets” after each song title listed? My dad taught me that game, and it is a huge blast. I guess in 2021; you have to play it with a Karaoke book because no one has jukeboxes anymore.
Miley Cyrus has a new album coming out on November 27th, and today she released the tracklisting for Plastic Hearts. There are three duets on the album, and two of them are with some pretty bitchin’ legends.
One tune is with Joan Jett, and the other one is with Billy Idol. This makes total sense. She stole Jett’s hairstyle and Idol’s snarl. Seriously, they are perfect choices for her because she has their energy and vibe. I can’t wait to hear the singles.
I have to admit as happy as I am about those songs, I am disappointed she didn’t put her cover of Hall & Oates’ Maneater on the record. I actually like her take on the song.

Rock of Ages will be out in a few hours, but you don’t have to wait until then see two of the songs from the rocking musical. In the movie Adam Shankman had Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta singing Foreigner’s Jukebox Hero and mashed it up with Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin doing Joan Jett’s I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll! The two songs blended so well together that I think it showed Glee how it is supposed to be done.
And Catherine Zeta-Jones hit us with her best shot by performing Pat Benetar’s big hit. Who knew she could dance like that?
All I can say after watching those two songs is why can’t Rock of Ages be out now, so I can see it. And where is the nearest Tower Records, so I can buy the soundtrack?
