For some reason, Jennifer Hudson was given a daytime talk, and it is going to debut on September 12th. Today, we found out the EGOT winner is going to take back to the beginning of her career for her first guest.
Who is it going to be? Hudson will be reunited with Simon Cowell for the first time since she was eliminated from American Idol in 2004. They have a lot to catch up on because a lot has happened to both of them in 18 years. Can you believe it has been that long?
BTW Cowell was not the first, but one of them on both The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Nick Cannon Show. One show is still on the air; one isn’t. Who knew he was so popular?
Jennifer Hudson turned the big 4-0 yesterday, and Madame Tussauds New York gave her the best gift. They gave her herself. As in, a wax version of the Oscar winner.
They did such a good job; I can’t tell which one is real and which one is the life-sized figure.

There are not many positive things you can say about the musical Cats. Whether it is the movie or stage production. However, one of the nice memories from it is the song Memory. As I said, it is only nice. Jimmy Fallon and The Roots found a way to give it a new life with the cast of the big screen version of the show.
The Tonight Show reworked the ballad with a happier beat using classroom instruments, and you can tell it suited Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, James Corden, and Jennifer Hudson sang it.
I think this take on the classic show tune is purrfect. You knew that was coming.
Jennifer Hudson was guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday and she told the ABC late night host that she has problem recognizing actors. So she told him a story that back when she was a contestant on American Idol, she went to the premiere of Kill Bill: Vol 2 with the other singers who were still on the show at the time. While she was watching it, she “fell asleep on the movie.” So when they got out of the film, QT asked them what they thought of it. Because she didn’t recognize him, she said to him “OMG! That movie was horrible. It was so boring.” Then someone finally got her attention to tell her who she just gave that sh!tty review to and she was embarrassed. So how did he react to her saying his movie was crap, she said he laughed it off because he thought she was joking. But maybe as time went on, he realized she wasn’t. And because of that, I don’t think we will ever be seeing the Oscar winner in any of his movies ever.
