They hired ’90s sitcom star Jason Alexander to play Colonel Sanders. Not only that, they gave him a theme song that would make Growing Pains, Family Matters and Full House very proud.
It cannot only be about the song that is finger licking good, so they gave him a mini-episode too. Out of all Colonels, George Costanza is my favorite one by far. So much, I hope they keep him around for a long time. Longer than their yummy pickle sandwich that is already gone.
Before Jason Alexander suffered from shrinkage on Seinfeld, he had a nice supply of Good & Plenty. Except for the hair, he looks the same now as he did when he was 25 in that 1984 commercial.
Will & Grace, Roseanne and Murphy Brown all got revivals, and today Ellen DeGeneres asked Jerry Seinfeld on her show if was up for bringing his sitcom back for at least one more season?
