Jane Lynch was on The Late Late Show and James Corden wanted to know about her Cabaret show. In particular, he wanted to know what was her favorite part of that show. She told him that she loves to rap. After some coaching from the other guests, she showed off her mad skills by rapping to Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda.
Let’s just say, she did a great job with Minaj’s Super Bass on Glee, and she did the opposite on the CBS late night show. What did you think?
James Corden keeps upping the ante on his Carpool Karaoke passengers and his latest one is his greatest get so far. That’s because he got Adele to go for a ride with him. The singer with the angelic voice braved the rain in London to be with him and together they sang some tunes and shared some stories.
She told him about getting drunk a few nights earlier at a bar and befriending a family she didn’t even know while she waited for a friend to join her. Then she told him that Ginger Spice was the first person to ever break her heart when she left the Spice Girls. You see, Adele is such a big fan of the quintet that she used to have Spice Girls parties. Then The Late Late Show host and her sang Wannabe. But that wasn’t the only song she sang by another artist, she also rapped to Nicki Minaj’s Monster. As soon as Minaj hears this she is going to take a super bass in her anaconda. Because that is what we are all doing.
Seriously, Adele is such a good rapper, I am hope she includes a rap song on her next album that will not be named after age. She told the CBS host that she believes in trilogies and 25 was the end of this trilogy.
Seriously, stop what you are doing and watch this. It will be the best 15 minutes of your day!
UPDATE: Here’s what Nicki Minaj thinks about Adele doing Monsters, “Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!! 😜🙈🏆👑👑👑 #Adele #Monster the attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #Ok #IcoNic ❤️ I cried when she waved bye to the careers 😩 #Hello #BuhBye 😩🙋🏽”
Jack Hanna was on The Late Late Show and he came out ready to make the men poop in the pants. It looked innocent enough when he was holding a bouquet of yellow roses, but they held a secret. There were scorpions in there and he placed them on Amar’e Stoudemire and James Corden. The NBA player’s went on to his crotch and wouldn’t let go and the CBS late night host’s remained on his chest.
That was until the animal expert was ready for his next animal. Hanna put a glove on Corden’s arm and before James could react, he had a vulture on him. You could tell he didn’t like that because he got bleeped longer than his predecessor Craig Ferguson ever did.
Finally, he brought out the last animal, a huge lizard who likes to eat meat. As James was feeding him, he put his hand down to low and Hanna warned him about it. At that point you can tell that the host really needed a new pair of pants!
And that is why I always love when animal experts do late night television! None of the hosts like it, but we do!
Morgan Freeman has a very sexy voice, and the high pitched James Corden asked him how he too can have one. So the man who has played Gd a few times, revealed the secret, “Yawn a lot.” Then he explained, “It relaxes the larynx, the whole area of the throat, the jaw because one of the things that makes the voice high is tension in the throat.” As soon as he said that The Late Late Show host and Tim Roth tested out the technique and it worked.
Not only did they do it, I also did it and now you are doing it too. It really works, but now I can’t stop yawning. On a positive note, I sound sexy as all heck! I could be phone sex operator, so call me for $.99 a minute.
I don’t know about you, but I always wished there was a song about New Year’s Resolutions, and for some reason there has never been one. That has all changed. Yesterday on The Late Late Show, James Corden reworked Meghan Trainor’s huge hit All About the Bass with the singer to All About the Change, and New Year’s Resolutions finally has an anthem. Sit back and get to know the song you will be singing every January from now on.
