Bill Maher has been on the air for 28 years, and he has never missed a scheduled episode until now. That is because the host of Real Time tested positive for COVID-19 even though he is vaccinated.
“Thanks to all wishing me to get well – hard to do since I feel perfectly fine, but I appreciate it,” he wrote. “Most upset about ending my streak going back to 1993 of never missing a Politically Incorrect or Real Time episode. Oh well, even Cal Ripken had to sit one out at some point.”
Even though he is asymptomatic, HBO canceled the episode as a precaution. “Real Time production has taken every precaution following COVID CDC guidelines. No other staff or crew members have tested positive at this time. The show will be rescheduled at a later date,” an HBO spokeswoman told Deadline.
I don’t even want to imagine what his first monologue back will be like. He probably will be even more skeptical about coronavirus which is something we do not need.
For almost a year and a half we have been hearing about the f*cking Friends reunion, and today we found out when it is finally going to start streaming. When? When? When? You asked. It will debut on May 27th. So that is two weeks or 14 days from today.
The press release also revealed one more detail about the unscripted reunion. They revealed who the guest stars are going to be. They are David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
I like the idea of bringing back the actors who guest-starred on the show, like Tom Selleck and Elliot Gould. However, I don’t like the celebrities who are fans. That is just wasted air time that could have been spent on Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer instead.
Although, I like that BTS is part of it because the K-Pop band learned to speak English for the show.
If you want to see the episodes that taught the band how to speak English, you can watch all 236 episodes on TBS from May 10th-June 24th during the hours of 10a-4p. Get your fix now while you can.
We have been hearing about the Friends reunion for over a year now. First, it was delayed due to greed, and then the pandemic.
Good things come to those who wait because Matthew Perry posted a photo of himself in a makeup chair and wrote, “Seconds before eating a makeup brush. Not to mention reuniting with Friends.”
There you have it; we are one step closer to seeing the unscripted reunion on HBO Max. Now, we just wait for an airdate.
HBO Max wants to give men their magic back and turn them into Magic Mike. Therefore, they are doing a competition show looking for the next Channing Tatum to join their live show in Las Vegas.
According to the press release, “They will bare their souls and more as they evolve their bodies, learn to perform spectacular routines, and develop a new level of self-confidence. As they strip off their clothes, they will rid themselves of emotional baggage and regain their mojo but only one will be the Real Magic Mike.”
Casting is underway now for The Real Magic Mike, and it is expected to air later this year. If you want to strip your off clothes and negative energy, then apply now.
Personally, I wish Showtime would bring back Gigalos, but this a close second. I openly admit I enjoy watching men take their clothes off. Is that wrong?
LeBron James is leaving the court to play a basketball player in Space Jam: A New Legacy on July 16th.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the movie and his acting, but the trailer won me over. Not him, per se, but the Looney Tunes characters being looney. Who doesn’t love them doing that?
Are you going to watch the movie when it becomes available on the big screen and on HBO Max?
