Hatchi: A Dog’s Tale is one of the most amazing movies you will ever see!!!
September 26th, 2010 under Hallmark. [ Comments: 3 ]

Tonight at 9p get your family together, grab the tissue box, turn your televisions to The Hallmark Channel and watch Hatchi: A Dog’s Tale because it is one of the most amazing movies you will ever watch in so many ways! If you own an animal, ever owned an animal or just love animals, you are going to love this movie.
Richard Gere stars as Professor Parker Wilson in this movie based on a true story. One day when he is coming home from work, he finds an awwwdorable puppy at the train station and he takes him home. Although his wife played by Joan Allen doesn’t want the dog, when she sees how much her husband loves him she let’s him keep Hatchi. The two form a bond that leaves them inseparable. When the professor goes to take the train to work in the morning Hatchi follows him and then goes home to wait for his owner only to return to the station when the train brings his master home. The whole town becomes inspired by their closeness. Then one day something will happen that will prove not only is dog man’s best friend, but man is also dog’s best friend. When that moment happens grab your first tissue because you will be crying from that moment on. The movie will not leave you sad, but inspired by the loyalty and true love between humans and their pets! Also make sure to have your pet near by because when the movie ends you are going to grab them and squeeze them until they won’t let you anymore. I held my cat so tight for several minutes afterwards and I didn’t want to let her go.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved this movie. I actually got that loving feeling that movie left with me when I watched the trailer to post with this review. It is a the type of movie that you will be glad you watched and you will adore your four-legged pal even more than you already do now.
Richard Gere, Joan Allen, Jason Alexander and all the dogs who played Hatchi were as excellent in the movie as much as the film is itself excellent. I was in shock to find out that Sony opted not to release this family flick in theaters because it is one of the best movies they ever made. Sony you were idiots on that decision. But don’t let their mistake become yours and make sure to watch Hatchi: A Dog’s Take tonight on Hallmark at 9p because I am sure you are going to love this movie as much as I and everyone else who has seen it!

Billy Ray Cyrus talks about Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in Canaan
December 12th, 2009 under Billy Ray Cyrus, Hallmark. [ Comments: 2 ]

Get your kleenex ready for the amazing feel good movie Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in Canaan that will leave you crying in an inspirational way tonight at 8p. Christmas in Canaan is the story of two boys in the pre-civil right days in South, one white and one African American. When the two of them get into a fight, the father of the white one and the grandmother of the African-American one force them to spend a week together. When the white boy’s racist neighbor shoots a dog the two boys who refuse to get along find a reason to bond and form a life long friendship. A friendship that becomes like family when the African-American boy’s grandmother dies when he is a teen and he moves with the white family that includes his friend’s father, grandfather, his friend and a younger brother and sister. They are barely making ends meat and when it comes time for Christmas there is barely any money for presents so Billy Ray Cyrus comes up with Some Christmas that will have you balling your eyes out and want you to have a Some Christmas over a regular one. So much more goes on, but I seriously suggest watching to movie to see it all play out. This movie touched me so much I am crying thinking about so many well acted scenes in the movie. This is a must watch movie because in a time when people hated each other because of the color of their skin, there were people that were color blind and we should be more like them and not forget how far we have come in just 40 years.
Billy Ray Cyrus told us his manager turned down the role because he was busy with other projects, but he asked to read the script and once he did he knew he had to do the movie and I am so glad that he did. Billy Ray plays such a good guy in the movie with an an amazing heart that it almost feels as though he is not acting and he is playing himself. The good guy that Billy Ray Cyrus is really translates into this role and I really hope he gets an Emmy nom because he is so freaking amazing in this role in this excellent movie. So who was Billy Ray’s inspiration for the movie? It was his father in the ’60s and he told us that he put pictures of his father on his script so he could really capture his essence. If that is what his father was like, he is the type of guy you really wish you had in your life. And Christmas in Canaan is the type of movie you will be glad that you made part of your life when you watch it tonight on the Hallmark Channel at 8p!

Capture Citizen Jane tonight on Hallmark!
September 12th, 2009 under Brat Pack, Hallmark, Meat Loaf/Jim Steinman, Sean Patrick Flanery. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight on Hallmark they are premiere the inspirational well-acted movie Citizen Jane. It is the story of a woman whose fiance’, unknowingly to her, killed her beloved aunt. In one day she lost the man she loved and the woman she loved like a mother and she makes it her personal mission to put the man away who took her away from her.
Ally Sheedy is so believable as the woman who solves her aunt’s murder with the help of a cop who never gave up and by reading the mystery novels her aunt loved so much. Meat Loaf is so good as cop, that part of me thinks that he might’ve made a wrong career choice but then if he had we never would have heard his powerful voice and that would be beyond awful. Sean Partick Flanery looks all nice on the outside in the movie, but you can see him as the evil killer that he plays in it.
The movie is so well done, that you never lose interest it and when the movie ends you can see that this can be made in to a series of movies for the network and you will really want to see more of them. In real life Jane Alexander went on to help other families solve the murders of their loved one. Sadly she died two days before production started and you know she will be watching this movie with her aunt in heaven enjoying it as much as I did and you will. So make sure to make sure to watch it tonight on Hallmark at 9p!
