Lea Michele plays the goody two shoes Rachel Berry on Glee, but when the cameras stop rolling she is different than her character. The Broadway star posed in some very sexy poses for MARKTbeauty, but I don’t think she felt comfortable doing so. To me it looks like she is very uncomfortable trying to be all vampy which is weird because you would think after going topless 8 times in a week in front of 100s of strangers in Spring Awakening that there pictures would be a cakewalk.
Today at the Fox TCA Press Day Ryan Murphy came out to talk about a little show he created called Glee. One of the reporters asked him about getting more Broadway stars on the show and told a little ditty about John Stamos! He told us that the Full House star was constantly sending him clips from Cabaret wearing barely anything and saying he wanted to be on the show. Well as you can see Uncle Jesse looked pretty good when he did Cabaret on Broadway, and thus landed the role as a dentist who will be hooking up with Emma.
Another little factoid that Ryan Murphy shared with us is about the piano player that doesn’t talk. He said the only direction that the actor was given is that he hates the kids. He then went on to say that they have a backstory for him and that is, “He goes home to those voodoo dolls. When you go home and watch the show now, he’s purposely glaring. We think he’s a very low-paid teacher at the school.” OK who is re-watching the Glee episodes to see his reaction? I know I am!!!
Many of you never heard of Charice until she was cast on the second season of Glee. Well now the 18 year old singer from Philippines is making a name for herself because she got Botox and Thermage to make her round face more narrow for her Glee debut. According to what Vicki Belo told ABS-CBN Television, “Charice’s face, I’ve been noticing, it’s been getting wider… That’s why she looks mataba, although the body is very small, because your face is getting wide. One of the reasons for that, nagchew-chewing gum [siya]… Our chewing muscles, if you chew a lot of gums, it gets bigger.†So now that she has gotten the work done, she will no longer chew gum. Maybe she should have tried quitting gum and did some jaw exercises before getting the cosmetic procedure.
Charice said she decided to get it because, “”All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure.” Well I wonder how much pressure she is going to feel when she can’t show as much as emotion because of the Botox. She is way too young to have gotten any work done because they say once you start, you can’t stop. I really hope this role was worth it for her because I am not sure after hearing what she did if I will be able to watch her on the show. She was a pretty girl before she got the work done and she so didn’t need it.
UPDATE: Her rep told Us Weekly she got the cosmetic procedure for a different reason,
But her rep tells UsMagazine.com the point of the procedure was “to relieve a jaw problem similar to TMJ.”
“It did not hurt; it relieved the pain,” Charice’s rep tells Us. “You’ve seen her face – she doesn’t have a wrinkle in it so she wouldn’t need it for cosmetic purposes. The Glee people are thrilled with the way she looks which is why she got the part.”

I never realized how much Chris Colfer looked like Pinocchio until I saw the two of them together like that. Seriously during his next hiatus from Glee, he should do a movie playing the little wooden puppet whose nose grows when he tells a lie. Or maybe if the writers from the Fox show see this picture, they will have an episode where Kurt dresses up as Pinocchio and sings a song from the Disney musical! How awesome would that be?
Cory Monteith is London doing press and he Tweeted this picture while he waiting to be interviewed. @Frankenteen had this to say with the photo, “doing press in London. everythings a bit fancier in England.” I have to say I fancy how Finn looks on the other side of pond. Seriously doesn’t he look the sexiest you have ever seen him? Whatever he is doing there, he needs to do when he gets back on the set of Glee because it is so working for him!
