Rose McIver did some show and tell news at the Golden Globes yesterday. She and her husband, George Byrne, who just celebrated their one-year anniversary on the 2nd, are expecting their first child. And by the looks of her baby bump, it appears that she will be giving birth in the Spring.
McIver is not the only actress on Ghosts who is pregnant. Sheila Carrasco is due any day now. If the actors on the sweet sitcom don’t want to find themselves with child, they better not drink the water.
On that note, no word if McIver’s pregnancy will be written into the show. Since she is no longer a Zombie and is a living again, that is something her character can do.
Yesterday, some of the Ghosts got together to do something they can’t do on their show, and that is eat!
Rebecca Wisocky invited Brandon Scott Jones, Devan Chandler Long, Danielle Pinnock, and Sheila Carrasco over for a BBQ, and Flower brought an extra guest with her. That is because the actress is expecting her miracle daughter next month.
Congrats to the Carrasco and Josh Stamell on their first child! The couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary earlier this month.
We are getting a new season of Carpool Karaoke on Apple TV+ this Friday. Today, the streamer announced who is going to sing and drive this time around.
Getting in the car this season are The Afterparty’s John Cho, Zoë Chao, Jack Whitehall, Sam Richardson and Anna Konkle; Avril Lavigne and YUNGBLUD; Glee’s Lea Michele and Darren Criss; Cedric The Entertainer and Sheryl Lee Ralph; Alanis Morissette and Cara Delevingne; Girls5eva’s Busy Philipps, Sara Bareilles, Paula Pell, and Renée Elise Goldsberry; Ghosts’ Román Zaragoza, Rebecca Wisocky, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Rose McIver and Devan Long; and Community’s Alison Brie and Danny Pudi with a surprise appearance from Joel McHale.
Which episode are you looking forward to most? Obviously, I am all about Ghosts. However, I can’t wait to see Alanis Morissette’s reaction to WAP. Can you believe there are still people who haven’t heard the song?
Yesterday was the season finale of Ghosts, and the show ended with a cliffhanger. In the last few seconds, we found out that one of the Ghosts might’ve been zapped up to heaven.
So which ghost was it? Was it pantless Trevor (Asher Grodman) as Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) wants it to be? What about the recently engaged Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) or his fiancé, Nigel (Nigel Downer)? Could it be Pete (Richie Moriarty) who just watched his daughter get married at Woodstone Manor? Then there is Thor (Devan Chandler Long), who has been there for 1,000 years. Did his time finally come? Plus, would he leave the son he was recently reunited with behind? Would the producer let sassy Sass (Román Zaragoza) be silenced? There is also Flower (Sheila Carrasco), and I am not sure why she is worth saving. Unlike Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), who is Sam’s (Rose McIver), actual tie to her house. So they can’t get rid of her great-great-great-great-aunt? Or can they?
Who am I missing? I am missing Alberta (Danielle Pinnock )! That is because I think it is her. On the second to last episode, we found out that Hetty’s son killed the 1920s Jazz singer. Therefore, wrapping up her storyline with a bow. Plus, she was willing to forgive Hetty for not telling her that her son killed her almost 100 years ago. And that is the ultimate redemption.
But then again, it could have been one of the basement ghosts. And the producers and writers were just being evil.
So we are just left waiting for four months to find out what that bright light was all about. Because, depending on the strikes, that is when the most-watched sitcom will be back with new episodes.
Back to you because it is not all about me all the time. What are your theories on who will not be back next season?
Before Devan Chandler Long was a Viking on Ghosts, he was a wrestler on Sam & Cat. He looks the same now as he did when he was 29 in that 2013 episode.
