On Tuesday night, George Lopez pretended to pee (with a water bottle representing his peepee) on Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame according to TMZ, and today Madame Tussauds Hollywood decided to have some fun with that action.
The museum wheeled the actor/comedian’s wax figure across the street, put it by the Don’s star and gave him a water bottle to do with what he likes. Then they added, “Hey @georgelopez didn’t you hear California is in a drought?! 💦💦💦 #h2no.” They are right, but they are using bottled water, so they are wasting whatever they paid for that bottle!
The bigger story is that the life-size candle didn’t melt in the 90+ degree heat. That is some durable wax.

Taye Diggs and George Lopez looked like someone jumped the two actors and just left them there all bloodied and bruised. Who would do that to them? The makeup department of their film River Runs Red and they did a pretty gosh darn good job. I thought all those bruises and cuts were real, didn’t you?
George Lopez hit the road with his act, and when he was done with his show at the Caesars Windsor in Canada yesterday he hit the floor because he was so drunk. How drunk was he? Hotel Security arrested him for public intoxication and according to TMZ no charges have been filed yet. After he sobered up, he was sent on his way.
You know the saying the show must go on, well as of now his show there tonight will go on. I wonder if he will talk about this during his set. He should because that is what the people are going to want to hear. At least I know that is what I want to hear. Seriously, there is so much material there. He can say, his room wasn’t big enough so he decided to sleep in the biggest room he could find…the casino. Or since he was in Canada, he wanted to act like their biggest national treasure, Justin Bieber. And so on.
And you know they say there is no such bad thing as bad publicity? Well this is one to get word out that his new FX show Saint George is premiering on March 6th at 9p.

George Lopez is an out of work actor and talk show host, and looks like he is not above begging for his next job. He was pictured on his knees, clasping on to Eva Longoria’s dress as she walked on by him. But before you think he is asking for her a job, he was just trying to catch up to his Alma Awards co-host. Although I prefer to think that he was imploring with her to get him a job on the final season of Desperate Housewives.

About two years ago TBS branched out into late night TV with George Lopez and today they announced that they were cancelling Lopez Tonight. The network released this statement about the cancellation, “TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of Lopez Tonight. Thursday will be the final episode of the show. We are proud to have partnered with George Lopez, who is an immensely talented comedian and entertainer. TBS has valued its partnership with George and appreciates all of his work on behalf of the network, both on and off the air.” I am sad to see this show go because for a first time late night host, he did a pretty good job. Plus he got some good guests on the show and treated them right. I really hope they can get Erik Estrada to appear on the final episode because it would be a nice consolation prize for Lopez.
TBS has not announced what will replace the show but hopefully they won’t replace Lopez Tonight with The George Lopez Show repeats because that would be a kick in the pants.
