CBS is so happy with Power of 10 that they are giving it a second night to air on every week until the fall season starts in September. Power of 10 will be replacing Pirate Master that walked the plankl…literally.
I keep forgetting to post about this hysterical game show that CBS just added to their lineup! The show is hosted by the adorable and extremely likable Drew Carey and the way he interacts with the contestants shows why he got the one legacy job that didn’t go to Ryan Seacrest…The Price Is Right!!! So tune into Power of 10 on Wednesdays at 8p on CBS afterall So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent are over and what else is on until Rescue Me at 10p!
Rosie O'Donell has set her eyes on hosting The Price is Right and if the departing host Bob Barker has his way she won't get it. A source told Rush & Molloy that Bob Barker "is adamant that Rosie not get the gig." Can't say I blame him, I think Rosie would make a horrible game show host. First off you have to be likable and she is far from that and second she would not be able complain about all the stuff she complains about because a game show is not all about the host.
The paper also says that none of the leading rumored candidates (George Hamilton, Mark Steined and Todd Newton) are winning over the CBS big wigs to take over the show. So it will be interesting to see who will get the show, as long as isn't Rosie.
OK! I have to admit after he was on Dancing with the Stars, I have a whole new appreciation for him. So when I read that he was hosting a game a show I had to read about it. TV Week is saying that he will be hosting a show on CBS called "Who Do You Trust?" Since I don't fully grasp what it is about here is how they described it, "In the project, strangers wager how much they trust each other as they develop a relationship via gameplay. The concept is loosely based on the classic game-theory experiment "prisoner's dilemma," where players weigh cooperation vs. betrayal for differing levels of reward and punishment."
Right now it is in the pilot stage, but I hoped it gets picke up because I think he might actually make a good game show host.
According to Zap2It, ABC has pulled the low-rated The Great American Dream Vote after two whole episodes. The show premiered after Dancing with the Stars to dismal ratings and only went down from there. Dream Vote placed last in its timeslot yesterday and today ABC ended the nightmare before it could do any worse. Poor Donny Osmond, I was hoping he would be back on TV for a longer period of time. Oh well I guess it gives him more time to plan The Osmond Family Reunion.
