It has been almost 25 years since we got an I Know What You Did Last Summer movie, and it looks like we are going to get another sequel.
Deadline is reporting that hot off of the success of the recent Scream movies; Sony Pictures wants to revive the franchise. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson is slated to direct the film.
But you don’t care about her. You just want to hear that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze, Jr. are slated to reprise their roles in the feature.
I don’t remember how I Still Know What You Did Last Summer ended. And I don’t know what is planned for the sequel. However, I could see them coming back for the 25th high school reunion, and the killer is still seeking revenge on them.
Oh, and I know there was a third movie, but like Halloween 3, we don’t talk about it.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has been kissing Freddie Prinze Jr ever since they made the Scooby Dooby movie. However, that isn’t the only person she was supposed to kiss in the film.
Yesterday when the actress was on Watch What Happens Live, someone asked her if it was true that Daphne and Velma were supposed to kiss. She told them yes, but the scene was cut out. Much to her disappointment.
That was not the only thing that is on the cutting room floor. Daphne was going to tell Fred that the ascot made him look gay.
If you were ever hoping for a revival of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Sarah Michelle Gellar, I have some news for you that is going to hurt as much as the sun does on a vampire’s skin.
When SFX Magazine (via Deadlinefr) asked the actress if she would return to her most famous role, she told them, “I’m not. I am very proud of the show that we created and it doesn’t need to be done. We wrapped that up. I am all for them continuing the story, because there’s the story of female empowerment. I love the way the show was left: “Every girl who has the power can have the power.” It’s set up perfectly for someone else to have the power. But like I said, the metaphors of Buddy were the horrors of adolescence. I think I look young, but I am not an adolescent.”
She thinks she looks young. She doesn’t look 45, but she doesn’t look as young as she thinks.
And I am happy she won’t return to the role because she was calling it in the last few seasons.
Sarah Michele Gellar shared a photo of herself in the pink one-piece bathing suit that reads Barbie, and I can’t believe the former child star is 45 years old.
She doesn’t look anywhere near it. She is still slaying it like she did when she was Buffy. Except now, instead of slaying vampires, she is slaying men!!
Sarah Michelle Gellar might have had no problems taking out Vampires, but COVID-19 is not being easy on her.
“I realize I’ve been really quiet on here. After two and a half years COVID finally got me. Thankfully I’m vaccinated and boosted. But to those out there that say ‘it’s just a cold’… maybe for some lucky people it is. But for this (relatively) young fit person, who has struggled with asthma and lung issues her entire life, that is not my experience. Even with therapeutics and all my protocols it’s been tough,” the 45-year-old actress wrote. “I know I’m on the road to recovery, but it’s certainly not been an easy road. I’ll be back soon (hopefully with super antibodies…even if just for a bit) To quote a friend of mine – ‘I will wear a mask in my shower if it means I don’t get this again'”
Hopefully, Mrs.Prinze will be better soon and will not suffer long-term effects on her lungs from coronavirus.
