Five Nights at Freddy’s scares up Popeye’s menu items
November 17th, 2025 under Blumhouse, Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

When I think of Five Nights at Freddy’s, I think of Chuck E. Cheese. However, it is not appropriate to promote the Horror movie at the kids’ pizzeria. So instead, Blumhouse went with Popeyes to collaborate on menu items to promote the sequel.

The Popeyes Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu features two bundle options to satisfy cravings including:

  • Freddy Fazbear Deluxe Box ($12.99*) 3 pieces of Popeyes classic or spicy mouthwatering chicken tenders topped with a savory garlic parmesan rub, served with warm, garlic crusted Cheesy Bites and a marinara dipping sauce, a Cupcake Cup and a beverage to wash it all down
  • Freddy Fazbear Box ($7.99*): 3 pieces of Popeyes classic or spicy mouthwatering chicken tenders topped with a savory garlic parmesan rub, served with warm, garlic crusted Cheesy Bites and a marinara dipping sauce

In addition to the new limited-time menu, guests can purchase Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu Items à la carte:

  • Cheesy Bites with Marinara Sauce ($3.99): Lightly hand-breaded, garlic crusted cheese curds made with white cheddar cheese and fried to golden perfection. Served warm with one cup of rich marinara sauce
  • Cupcake Cup ($3.99): A moist, strawberry flavored cake topped with sweet pink icing

“At Popeyes, we love playing with bold flavors, and what better playground than the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s?” said Amy Alarcon, VP of Culinary at Popeyes. “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is an iconic part of the film, so we had a blast reimagining that fun, over-the-top energy through our menu. It’s our way of giving fans a delicious taste of the movie’s universe, where that iconic Popeyes flavor meets a little bit of nostalgic pizzeria mystery.”

The above is available for a limited time starting today, and the movie gobbles up theaters on December 5th.

Would you use wrapping paper that smells like Cinnabon?
November 14th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Every Christmas morning, we wake up early, run straight to the tree, and forget to eat breakfast. Then once the gifts are open, we have to play with them, even though we are starving.

Well, Cinnabon has a solution to our hunger pains. What is it? It is wrapping paper that smells like their store. This way, we can imagine we are eating that sugary, cinnamon gooeyness as we figure out how to put coal in our crazy aunt’s bed because she made us the dreaded fruit cake again.

That is just one of the benefits of using it. The other is, I am that shitty aunt who brings fruitcake. So imagine how much less shitty that gift would be if you smelled Cinnabon before you saw what was inside?

“The holiday season is all about celebrating traditions while also creating new memories, and Cinnabon has been a part of those cherished moments for 40 years now,” said Urvi Patel, Chief Brand Officer at Cinnabon. “The scent of our cinnamon rolls is a powerful source of nostalgia, synonymous with mall culture. This year, we wanted to take that iconic and beloved scent and roll it directly into the magic of gift-giving – allowing fans to unbox the wow, making Cinnabon a cultural touchstone not just in taste, but in the entire sensory experience of the holidays.”

You can get a 2-pack of the wrapping paper that smells good enough to eat for just $8.99 while supplies last!

And I think my family would prefer that I use that over the unscented wrapping I am going to spray with fart spray. I am just trying to make that fruitcake look better in any way I can.

Carl’s Jr will give you a free Cali XL Burger with a receipt for a Big Mac!
November 12th, 2025 under Fast Food, McDonald's. [ Comments: none ]

Big Macs are getting smaller, and Carl’s Jr’s burgers are getting bigger! Because of that, they want you to try their Cali XL burger for free.

But it comes with a condition… You need to upload a receipt to the app or at CarlsJr.com/SadMacBuyBack for a McDonald’s Big Mac between January 1 and November 11, 2025, to get one starting on November 22nd

And once you try the Cali XL, which is double the meat of that other burger, you won’t mind spending $5.99 for one.

“People want a burger that’s actually worth it. Our new Cali XL has more meat, more flavor and more value,” said Paz Romero, vice president of brand at Carl’s Jr. “The ‘Sad Mac Buy Back’ is our way of letting guests try it for themselves by swapping disappointment for something better— no questions asked.”

Of course, there will be one question, “Do you want fries with that?”

Shhhh, the McRib is back!
November 7th, 2025 under Fast Food, McDonald's. [ Comments: none ]

Every year, McDonald’s brings back the McRib and normally, the fast food giant announces it ahead of time. However, this year they didn’t. So, fans of the sandwich, like me, discovered it when they opened up the app.

While I was able to get my mouth on one, not everyone is as lucky. That is because Mickey D’s has been slowly rolling out, with 11/11 as the official nationwide launch date.

Don’t wait too long to get dirty with one because they are only available while supplies last.
