Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock have decided to end their four month marriage, Anderson’s rep has confirmed to Us. The papers, which were filed by Anderson, 39, cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The former Baywatch actress has hired famed celebrity divorce lawyer Neal Hersh, whose clients include Kim Basinger, Halle Berry, Drew Barrymore and Denise Richards. Anderson and Rock held a much-publicized marriage "celebration ceremony" aboard a yacht in St. Tropez July 29, but formalized their wedding when they returned to Los Angeles in more private ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. They also married later in Nashville as well as Rock’s hometown of Detroit, however, official court documents state the date of marriage is August 3, 2006, and list date of separation as November 21, 2006. Earlier this month, Anderson miscarried what would have been her and Rock’s first child together. On November 10, Anderson’s rep, Tracy Nguyen, asked that “Pamela’s privacy be respected at this time.” From 1995 to 1998, Anderson was married to rocker Tommy Lee, with whom she had two boys, Dylan, 8, and Brandon, 10. It was Rock’s first marriage.

Wow, I am shocked that they are getting divorced…but then again I was shocked they got married out of the blue! And isn’t interesting she is using the same divorce lawyer as her co-star Denise Richards.

TMZ has learned that Chris Rock has begun divorce proceedings against his wife of nearly 10 years, Malaak Compton-Rock. TMZ is told that the comedian has hired a high-powered divorce attorney to represent him. The couple, married in November of 1996, has two daughters — 4 year-old Lola and 2 year-old Zahra. Malaak is the Founder and Executive Director of StyleWORKS; a non-profit, full-service salon that provides free services for women leaving welfare and entering the workforce. When contacted, Rock’s rep would only say "I cannot comment at this time." Chris, best known for his stand-up comedy as well as for a controversial turn as the host of the 2005 Oscar telecast, once told NBC’s Stone Phillips that marriage was "beautiful" but added, "If you’re a guy, [your individual self] is dead. Get rid of you. Take yourself to the door and wave. Hey, see you later. It sounds horrible. I’m happier than I’ve ever been now that I’ve shot myself in the head." Rock is currently in post-production for the film "I Think I Love My Wife."

More details on why Sara Evans filed for divorce? |
October 13th, 2006 under Divorce, Sara Evans. [ Comments: none ]

Sara Evans has accused her husband of 13 years, Craig Schelske, of having an affair with her former nanny and close friend who inspired her involvement in a national eating disorder organization. On Thursday, the country singer filed for divorce and announced that she had dropped out of the ABC reality show “Dancing With the Stars” to spend time with her family. In a divorce complaint filed Thursday in Williamson County Chancery Court, Evans requested a divorce on the grounds of adultery, inappropriate marital conduct and irreconcilable differences. The documents allege that Schelske watched pornography, and kept numerous nude photos of himself on his computer, as well as photographs of Schelske having sex with other women. Documents filed Thursday in Williamson County Chancery Court stated, “Wife further alleges that Husband has been guilty of adultery with Alison Clinton.” Clinton could not be reached for comment. Evans mentioned Clinton in the thank yous of the liner notes of her 2003 album Restless: “Alison Clinton (assistant/nanny/do it all/comic relief).” Today, Evans’ attorney would not specifically address questions about Clinton. John Hollins Jr. said, “There is a factual basis for all of the allegations made in this complaint.” In September, Evans hosted Fashion for Every Body, which benefited the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee and the Sara Evans Fund. (Evans was recently named an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association.) During that Nashville event, Clinton joined Evans onstage. Evans told The Tennessean in an interview for a Sept. 3 Life cover story, she had a personal link to the disorder: “One of my best friends, who started out being my nanny and then we became best friends, developed anorexia and I watched her almost die.” Evans said. Evans explained that the woman lost her nanny job because of anorexia. “It was this big mess and so sad because she was suffering and on her way to death.”
