Sara Evans has accused her husband of 13 years, Craig Schelske, of having an affair with her former nanny and close friend who inspired her involvement in a national eating disorder organization. On Thursday, the country singer filed for divorce and announced that she had dropped out of the ABC reality show “Dancing With the Stars” to spend time with her family. In a divorce complaint filed Thursday in Williamson County Chancery Court, Evans requested a divorce on the grounds of adultery, inappropriate marital conduct and irreconcilable differences. The documents allege that Schelske watched pornography, and kept numerous nude photos of himself on his computer, as well as photographs of Schelske having sex with other women. Documents filed Thursday in Williamson County Chancery Court stated, “Wife further alleges that Husband has been guilty of adultery with Alison Clinton.” Clinton could not be reached for comment. Evans mentioned Clinton in the thank yous of the liner notes of her 2003 album Restless: “Alison Clinton (assistant/nanny/do it all/comic relief).” Today, Evans’ attorney would not specifically address questions about Clinton. John Hollins Jr. said, “There is a factual basis for all of the allegations made in this complaint.” In September, Evans hosted Fashion for Every Body, which benefited the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee and the Sara Evans Fund. (Evans was recently named an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association.) During that Nashville event, Clinton joined Evans onstage. Evans told The Tennessean in an interview for a Sept. 3 Life cover story, she had a personal link to the disorder: “One of my best friends, who started out being my nanny and then we became best friends, developed anorexia and I watched her almost die.” Evans said. Evans explained that the woman lost her nanny job because of anorexia. “It was this big mess and so sad because she was suffering and on her way to death.”

Sara Evans filed for divorce Thursday from her husband of 13 years, Craig Schelske, in Williamson County, alleging that he had committed adultery, verbally abused her and frequently watched pornography at home. On Thursday, Evans announced that she has dropped out of the ABC show “Dancing with the Stars” to give her family her full attention. According to the document filed in chancery court, Schelske allegedly has on his computer at least 100 photographs of himself posing in an aroused state. There are several photographs of him having sex with other women, the filings stated. “On his computers, husband maintains ‘Craigs Lists.’ Many of them involve requests for three party sex and anal sex. Husband’s ‘Craigs Lists’ are composed of personal ads on his personal sex engine involving him and prospective sex partners,” the documents stated. The court document included an exhibit of nine recent “Craigs Lists’’ items stored in the temporary files of his computers. Craigslist is an online ad service. On Sept. 28, one of the children confronted Schelske, 43, at the couple’s Franklin home when he was watching pornography on TV, the filing stated. The couple’s children are 2, 3 and 7 years old. Evans, 35, requested a temporary restraining order prohibiting Schelske from physically and verbally abusing her, exposing their three young children to pornographic materials of any kind, consuming alcoholic beverages to excess in front of Evans or the children, and taking their children to Oregon, which would interfere with her temporary and pending custody. “Wife further alleges that husband has told wife that he is taking the children to Oregon and continually interferes with wife’s possession of and parenting time with the parties’ minor children,” stated the document. The document alleged that Schelske frequently threatened Evans and “told her that she is crazy.” It also claimed he verbally and emotionally abused and harassed Evans. Evans filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences, inappropriate marital conduct and adultery. "There’s nothing else she could do under the circumstances," said Evans’ attorney, John Hollins Sr. Evans requested she be designated the primary residential parent and custodian of the children and that Schelske receive “reasonable residential parenting time” with their children. She requested exclusive possession of their home and “reasonable child support.” No court date has been set. Late Thursday, her representatives released the following statement: "Recent events that shed light on the status of her marriage prompted Ms. Evans to make the filing. The statement continued, "A mother of three, Ms. Evans felt it was in her children’s best interest that she also withdraw from competition on Dancing with the Stars, an ABC television series that she has been part of this fall, to give her family her full attention at this difficult time. Ms. Evans hopes that her fans and TV viewers who’ve supported her in recent weeks and throughout her music career will respect and understand her need for privacy in the face of these recent events."

ET confirms that TONY DANZA and his wife, TRACY, are separating. The "Taxi" and "Who’s the Boss" star recently ended his run as a daytime talk show host for the short-lived "Tony Danza Show." The nationally syndicated talk show broadcast weekdays from New York until it was cancelled this past May. Tony’s film roles include ‘Angels in the Outfield’ and ‘Crash.’ He will appear in the upcoming crime thriller ‘Aftermath’ with ANTHONY MICHAEL HALL and the late CHRIS PENN.

Christie Brinkley is pulling the plug on her marriage to fourth husband Peter Cook, preparing to file divorce papers against the amorous architect who broke her supermodel heart by cheating with an 18-year-old aspiring singer, The Post has learned. Brinkley’s high-powered divorce lawyer, Eleanor Alter, has told Cook’s lawyer, Norman Sheresky, to expect the legal papers that will set their split into motion, sources said yesterday. The move comes three months after Brinkley was stunned to learn that Cook, 47, had cavorted over the past year with teen temptress Diana Bianchi, who worked at his Hamptons architectural firm. It also sets the stage for a possible war over the estimated $60 million in real estate the couple jointly own. "No comment," said Cook when a reporter caught up with him in Midtown yesterday afternoon and asked his reaction to the planned divorce. "I don’t comment on my family life, thank you." Last month, the 52-year-old Brinkley filed a "summons with notice" in Suffolk County Court in Riverhead that laid the groundwork for a divorce from the caddish Cook. But the "Uptown Girl" held off serving divorce papers on Cook, with whom she has an 8-year-old daughter, Sailor Lee. Cook also is the adoptive father of her 11-year-old son, Jack Paris. In late July, Cook tried to convince the legendary model not to call it quits on their decade-long marriage, telling The Post through his matrimonial lawyer, "I love my wife.
