CSI actress Marg Helgenberger who is married to SAG President Alan Rosenberg…or should I say who was married to…because she filed for divorce today according to OK! Magazine. When news broke that Marg had left her husband in December it was about the same time that SAG Strike talks started heating up. Now that she is officially divorcing him, I wonder if that means those talks will once again be heating up as a distraction for him? The two met when he guest starred on Ryan's Hope, but did not star dating until she met him again at a bank when she moved to LA. The two had been married for almost 20 years and their only child moved out to go to school last year.

We have the first celebrity to file divorce in the New Year and according to TMZ it is Patricia Arquette. The Medium star filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Thomas Jane, siting irreconcilable differences today in LA. The couple have a five year old daughter together.
What a sad way to start of the new year.

National Enquirer is reporting that CSI's Marg Helgenberger turned 50 and left her husband SAG President Alan Rosenberg.
“Marg hasn’t been happy for a long time, and as 50 approached she finally told Alan she wanted to start the second half of her life alone,” a close family friend told The ENQUIRER.
The strawberry blonde actress – who turned 50 on Nov. 16 – and Alan, 56, have been married since 1989. They have a son who turned 18 on Oct. 21.
“But both she and Alan love their son, and want to minimize any trauma the split would have on him. They’re excellent parents, but they just came to the decision that their lives together were no longer working.”
If this is true, I wonder if that is why Alan Rosenberg is suddenly starting to move forward with the SAG strike vote? You know use it as a distraction?

Life & Style is reporting that Chris Kattan's marriage of less than two months is already in trouble.
“They’ve got issues that they’re trying to work out,” adds an insider close to the couple, who wed less than two months ago. “It’s not a divorce right now, but they're taking time apart.”
The magazine also says the two are trying to work it out.
Dang that was fast. I guess the only way for him to get any press these days is to get married and then separated less than two months later because what is going on with his career?

Phil Collins paid his ex-wife a few million more than Paul McCartney paid out to Heather Mills in his divorce settlement, making it the highest divorce payout by a British superstar in British history according to Sunday Mirror. Phil Collin's reportedly gave his third wife a £25 million ($50 million US) payout.
A music industry source said: "Marriage has certainly not come cheap for Phil. He has now made two of the biggest divorce payments in showbiz history.
"At least no one can accuse him of leaving his ex-wives short. When you compare what he's paid out relative to his own fortune the figures are enormous."
Dang who knew he was such a generous ex-husband! Now I want to marry him, just for the divorce settlement!!!
