This season of Dancing with the Stars, we have seen stars with professional dance experience, such as Harry Shun Jr., Jenna Dewan, and Julia Stiles.
But we forget that they are not the only ones. Tatyana Ali went viral for her dance from the first season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In that scene, Will Smith sees his little cousin dancing with headphones on, sneaks up behind her, and does the dance without her knowing.
Last year, that moment was all over social media when people were recreating it to Doechii’s Anxiety. I guess that one of the people who wanted to do it was Derek Hough.
Now, that Ashley Banks is on the show, he seized the opportunity to do just that. And I give it a 10. Something the judge should have given to Taylor Hanson, because he and Britt Stewart should not have been eliminated yesterday over Connor Wood or Stiles.
So, yesterday, when I saw that Glee’s Chris Colfer and Amber Riley were in the audience, I was like, when is Will Smith going to enter the ballroom and support his TV cousins, Ali and Alfonso Ribeiro? After watching this video, I was like, how perfect would it be if he appeared when the actress dances Anxiety? If she doesn’t do a dance to that tune at some point, it would be a mistake, like we never got to see Hanson dance to MMMBop.
On Tuesday night, during the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars, Derek Hough accidentally called Tyler Cameron Dylan.
Needless to say, everyone was making fun of him for that. However, no one more than the judge himself. So he made a video about how he is being affected by “Dad Brian, I mean Brain🤣”
The father of 8-month-old Everly not only doesn’t know Cameron’s name; he doesn’t know anyone’s name. So unless you are Dylan Efron, he doesn’t know who you are.
Derek Hough shared a topless photo showing off his toned abs from dancing, and I bet you didn’t look at his baseball cap. I know it took me a while to notice he was wearing one. How long did it take you?
Derek Hough is not the same man he was in 2025. He and his wife, Hayley Erbert, welcomed their first child together.
The proud parents, who announced the happy news in July, shared the details on social media, “December 29, 2025
“Everley Capri Hough
“Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
The couple met in 2014 on the Dancing with the Stars tour and started dating in 2015. However, they did not get married until 2023.
Shortly after they were married in December 2023, Hayley suffered a brain bleed and nearly died. She has since recovered, and two years later, she is a mom.
Tonight on Dancing with the Stars, it was Wicked night. The dancers performed to songs from the Musical Wicked, as the movie’s director, Jon M. Chu, judged them alongside Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba.
To start off the night, the pros danced to a medley of songs from the two-time Oscar-winning film. It was such a big production that Derek, Julianne Hough, and Alfonso Ribeiro joined in to help them recreate the choreography for Dancing Through Life and What Is This Feeling?, which went viral last year.
You can say they were all defying gravity with a performance that I would not be surprised brings home the Emmy in September.
When it comes to went home, once again Andy Richter and Emma Slater were too popular to go home. And I am OK with that! Sorry to Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold, who are no longer vying for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
Wicked: For Good dances its way into theaters on November 21st.
