Can Superhero costumes get wet?
July 17th, 2017 under DC Comics. [ Comments: none ]

We know that Aquaman’s costume can get wet, but what about the other Superheroes? Melissa Benoist gave us the answer when she posed in a pool wearing her Supergirl outfit. Not only did it hold up well, it made boys’ hearts beat faster than a speeding bullet!

BTW we know she can do it, but I doubt Iron Man would. His costume would probably get all rusty and break down.

The one person who can get Stephen Amell to do whatever they want!
July 5th, 2017 under DC Comics, Stephen Amell. [ Comments: none ]

On TV Stephen Amell plays the fearless Green Arrow, but in real life he is a big old softie when it comes to his daughter. Over the weekend, he let 3-year-old Mavi paint his toe nails. Not only did she give him a pedicure, she also painted his nails lavender. In fact, he loves his kid so much, he did not even care that she polished more than his nails, but also all of the skin surrounding them.

Not only is he a superhero on television, he is also one at home when the cameras are not rolling. What is more super than a dad who lets his daughter use him as test subject? Because of that he is a total DILF! Well that and a whole lot more than just that..

DC Comics releases Adam West’s unaired episode

NBC decided to cancel Powerless before the last three episodes could air, and that means that one of Adam West’s last appearances would never see the light of the Bat signal. Or so we thought.

DC Comics, who produced the super sitcom, released his episode online so his fans could see his gratuitousness guest starring role. As a fan of both the best Batman and Powerless, I was not disappointed. I think the people will love to see him in one of his final roles that was shot just months before he passed away. Plus, experience a show that was a perfect fit for him.

When it comes to Powerless, I am hoping that this brings an interest to the funny show that not enough people watched. Who knows, maybe people will discover it, love it like I do and some other network or streaming service will pick it up. I know I want more episodes of this ingenious program and hopefully others will too.

This 1967 Wonder Woman test pilot will leave you with wonder!
June 2nd, 2017 under DC Comics. [ Comments: none ]

via The Hollywood Reporter
Back in 1975, Lynda Carter landed the role that changed her life forever. But 8 years earlier, there was another woman playing Wonder Woman. That woman is Ellie Wood Walker and her pilot never took off like the character’s invisible plane. Why? Just watch!

While Wonder Woman the movie is getting critical praise, this test pilot from 50 years ago would not. Wonder Woman: Who’s Afraid of Diana Prince? was more like a sitcom where a Superhero lives with her nagging mother who only wants her to get married. While I would watch, the show that came in the next decade is why the DC Comics heroine is still very much loved today and little girls want to grow up to be her.

What do you think of that failed test pilot?

Gal Gadot trains Conan O’Brien to be Wonder Woman
May 26th, 2017 under Conan O'Brien, DC Comics, Gal Gadot. [ Comments: none ]

Conan O’Brien thinks he is buff, so he asked Gal Gadot to train him like she was trained to play Wonder Woman. Is he a Wonder Woman after that 45 minute lesson on his TBS late night show? Nope, he is still the Joker! He will never be anything else. And that is why we love just the way he is.
