I know I am in the minority, but I really felt bad for Joaquin Phoenix during that interview on David Letterman. You can so tell that he doesn’t he want to be there and felt really uncomfortable during the whole interview. And it didn’t help that Letterman was a condescending jerk and didn’t take into account that he was nervous or bother to do any research on him. I mean it has been no secret that he is doing old skool rap which if he did the research he could have had some real chuckles with him and not at him. What also didn’t help was his audience that laughed every time he opened his mouth. I mean you can seriously watch Joaquin shrink into suit as each second goes on. With all those factors that probably will go down as one of the worst interviews in Late Night TV. Poor Joaquin will end his talk show career on that note.
BTW that is why I love Jimmy Kimmel Live! so much, he is warm and takes his guests’ feelings into consideration. I know Letterman has been doing it longer, but he could learn a lesson from Kimmel. Seriously whenever I wind up watching an interview of Letterman’s he always comes off as a pompous jerk and coming in at number 2 to Jay Leno he has no reason for that ‘tude.
That was the funniest Top Ten’s I have seen on David Letterman in a really long time! Considering the last one I saw was last night and the one before that I don’t remember!!! No but seriously how funny was it seeing Jim Carrey doing the Top Ten Things He Will Always Say Yes To in a tub taking a bubble bath! I was wondering where they were going with #1 and once we all realized, it was so wrong!!!

Tom Cruise is on David Letterman tonight on CBS at 11:35p and he reads his own Top Ten List, “Top Ten Craziest Things People Say About Tom Cruise on the Internet.” That had the potential to be so much funnier than it was, but man that bombed faster than Valkyrie will on December 25th.
BTW you have to respect all that Tom is doing to help Valkyrie do better that $5 million during its first weekend. You know because that’s how Jews wants to spend Christmas watching a movie about Nazis and then eating Chinese. Nah, they would rather spend the day either watching a cute movie about a dog or watching a cute guy go from an old man to a sexy Brad Pitt and then eating Chinese!!! Nikki Finke is reporting that Jimmy Kimmel is going to be a guest on David Letterman when he is in NYC to do ABC's upfront on May 12th! The fact that he is going to appear on Letterman just goes to show how far he has come and how well liked he is! I mean how many other times have you seen a talk show host appear on rival's show! In the last few months he has been on Leno and now Letterman! He has made the big time and this blogger is so proud of him!
Nikki also added that he will be on GMA, Howard Stern and filling in for Regis on Regis and Kelly while he is in NY. So even though Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be in repeats, we will be getting out Kimmel fixes in other ways.
Oh yeah and the Friday when he comes back, he will reunite Ryan Seacrest and Clay Aiken oh his show! That should be fun!!!
It is the last part I am referring to where David Letterman messes with John Edwards hair. How sad and stupid.
But seriously how likable was John Edward on the show! Go Edwards!!!
