Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman dish about Jay Leno
March 16th, 2010 under David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: 1 ]

So I have been going through late night withdrawal this week because both Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson are in repeats. That was until I saw Jimmy Kimmel is on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman tonight at 11:35a and the two late night talk show host talk about their competition Jay Leno. It was great to see them continue to bash Leno for what happened to Conan O’Brien. I loved how Letterman said it was a lot of fun to bash Leno, granted he has been saving that up for years ever since Leno stole his job from him. And as much as Jimmy and Dave laughed at Jay, it is Jay who is laughing the loudest because for some reason he is still #1 in the ratings even after CoCoGate.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are engaged!
February 16th, 2010 under David Letterman, Good Charlotte, Nicole Richie. [ Comments: none ]

Nicole Richie told David Letterman during a taping that her and her baby daddy Joel Madden are engaged to be married according to People. After the news broke Joel Madden Tweeted the below before quickly removing it from his Twitter.

JoelMadden: Yep. i’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same
JoelMadden: P.s. thats why i love my family and friends. None of them are sources. All good tight lipped people who let us enjoy it! Thanks everybody

The couple have been together for over three years and have a daughter Harlow, 2 and a son Sparrow, 5 months. No word when the two will tie the knot, but hopefully it will last because he does wonders for turning her life around in a positive way!

UPDATE: Here is a picture from Pacific Coast News Online of the engagement ring, Joel Madden did a really good with it!

Tracy Morgan does a Cop Out on who his Valentine is!
February 15th, 2010 under David Letterman. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tracy Morgan was on David Letterman and when the late night host asked him who his Valentine was, he made a Cop Out and said it was Oprah Winfrey. He then went on a rant about her and how she is always on the phone with Gayle King. That rant was so funny I had to share it with y’all. I especially loved when he call Letterman, D-Letty! Hopefully that name will stick.
BTW you can see the 30 Rock star in “Too Fat to Fly” Kevin Smith’s Cop Out on the 26th, and you know he will be hysterical in it just from what we have seen in the trailers.

David Letterman tosses to the wrong Craig
February 11th, 2010 under Craig Ferguson, David Letterman. [ Comments: none ]

On Tuesday night’s The Late Show, David Letterman was tossing to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, but instead of tossing to Craig Ferguson he tossed to the former-Late Late Show host Craig Kilborn. Someone caught his mistake before the show went to air, and instead of re-taping it they just dubbed Ferguson’s name over where his boss had said Kiborn. Even more proof it is time for Letterman to retire from the late night business. Oh wait, then where we would get his female interns from? Too soon?
Back to Ferguson, Craig Ferguson, now that he is on Twitter @CraigyFerg one of his followers asked him about the slip up and he responded to his boss, David Letterman and CBS by saying, “I think they are trying to figure out how much of a fool can we make of this idiot before he finally walks out. And here’s what, I am here. I’m going to stay here. No matter what you do and I’ll tell you why. I have no other options.” Lucky for Craig (Ferguson) CBS has strong shows in their 10p lineup or maybe they would consider doing what NBC did. Although if the Sham Wow guy gets in trouble again, maybe CBS will give Craig Ferguson his half hour?

(starts at 6:11 in)

BTW yesterday Craig Ferguson introduced the Greek Chorus to his show, tune into CBS tonight at 12:37a to see if they will be back when he interviews Don Rickles, who was around when there really were Greek Choruses. You know, back when Greece wasn’t Ancient Greece but it was considered modern day to the people who were living at that time like Socrates. Actually tune in at 12:35a to see which Craig, David Letterman will be tossing to…

BTWF roles: David Letterman on Mork & Mindy
October 20th, 2009 under Before They Were Famous, David Letterman. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 4:50 on the first video)

Before David Letterman had his own late night talk show, he was speaking to a much smaller audience on Mork & Mindy. Even back when he was 35 in that 1979 episode, I still wouldn’t have done him like his co-workers.
