Ya-freaking-hoo! For the first time in 6 seasons someone with a personality and someone we heard of before they danced on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars actually won the mirror ball trophy! I love Donny Osmond and I am so happy he won! He deserved it, plus he gets to rub his sister’s face in it! You know that is eating her up inside! And you know he will remind her of the fact that he won and she lost at every one of their Vegas performances. And you know what he deserves to! But saying all of that, you know it will all be in good fun between the two siblings!!!
Seriously how freaking great is it that he won! He will be 52 on December 9th and his age didn’t stop him from competing with other celebrities that were half his age! I admire him for that and also for the great job he did his whole time on the show! I am also so excited that Kym Johnson finally got an American mirror ball trophy to go with her Australian one! Personally I think her win is long overdue, she should’ve won her first one with either Jerry Springer or Joey Fatone. That freestyle she did with Joey was one of the best ever on DWTS!!! Way to go Donny and Kym!!!
Also way to go for Kelly Osbourne! You were the most improved and a joy to watch! She won over a whole new fan base and I hope we see more of her! Even though she was on the DWTS diet and there is a whole lot less of her!
Now back to Donny Osmond he will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight at 12:05a on ABC to discuss winning! He is not the only winner on JKL tonight because Jimmy Kimmel bet a $1,000 on him before Dancing started the season and now he is $7,000 richer because Donny danced his way to the title! It is a good thing that Donny won because some of the competitors that Jimmy bet on that lost had the sh!t beat out of them and were either never heard of again or were hospitalized for several months.
BTW when it was announced who won, Jimmy Kimmel was in the control room prepping for the show and when they said Donny won everyone in the control room cheered and the audience went wild! Everyone is happy when a good guy wins and Donny really is one!!!
UPDATE: Jimmy Kimmel revealed on the show that he has always been obsessed with Donny Osmond even when he was little girl!
If I had my way the final two stars on tonight’s Dancing with the Stars would be Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne, but the judges saw to it that won’t let that happen by giving Mya scores she didn’t deserve. Her freestyle barely had any moves and they gave her a 27…I call bullsh!t on that. When will those annoying judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman realize that this is a reality TV show and we want personality! Mya and Dmitry Chaplin (he is nice to look at, but dull to watch) are so freaking boring that whenever they dance I get distracted. Let’s look at the past winners and see where they are at? I only remember the pros who won because ever since Emmit Smith all the winners have gone back to that place where they were before the show…who cares land. Let’s get a winner that people will remember and care about past Thanksgiving.
Now let’s talk about my final two, Donny has always been fun to watch and his freestyle was the best. That and imagine how much razzing he would do this his sister Marie Osmond if he won and she came in third when she was on the show. Donny deserves that and plus Jimmy Kimmel has $1,000 on him to win and he doesn’t like to lose! When it comes to Kelly I think she should win, not only because she is so awwdorable but because she is the most improved and that is what I think the winner should be. Unlike Donny and Mya she hasn’t been choreographed her whole life and look how far she come! I was disappointed with her freestyle, but it wasn’t because of her falling but because of Louis van Amstel’s choreography. In fact I thought all three of the freestyles were completely lame. I expected so much better from Kym Johnson who wowed me with Joey Fatone all those seasons ago and last night was just OK.
The best part of tonight’s show on ABC at 9p is that another boring season is over!!! That and for the first time since season 1 the winner will not be a Burke, Hough or Ballas!!! Side Note: Last week Kelly Osbourne reminded me via Tweet that Donny and Osmond and her once worked together back in 2003…
Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks are no longer making music together. A source told People, “This was mutual. They needed some time apart.” The two dated for over a year and she stayed on for an extra season on Dancing with the Stars to teach him how to dance like her. No reason was given for the split, but I am wondering if it had anything to do with their 9 year age difference and/or their touring schedules? Or they simply could’ve grown apart like so many couples. I don’t think Julianne will be single for long. Maybe Chace Crawford and her will hook up when they do Footloose together next season?
BTW I didn’t realize until I was going through my pictures that he was on Fox’s very short lived show Nashville.
Another Dancing with the Star celeb was rushed to the hospital after the show, and this time it was Kelly Osbourne according to EOnline. At the end of the Paso Doble the buckle did something to her foot and she was sent to hospital for examination after the show. But Kelly being the trooper that she is, that even after her injury she still danced the group dance barefoot. Her partner Louis van Amstel explained what happened, “At the end of our paso doble Kelly banged her foot on the floor which may have caused an injury,” her partner, Louis van Amstel, tells E! News. “She is at the hospital right now to take an X-ray and an MRI to make sure she will be OK to dance. Kelly will keep me updated on her prognosis.” Hopefully she will be able to continue because she is so much fun to watch and I am rooting for her to make it to the finals!
Aaron Carter was caught on camera crying last week after he placed fourth from the highest scorer on Dancing with the Stars, so imagine how many tears he shed when he placed fourth from the bottom last night. Although he said he wouldn’t cry, I am sure he did. And he will probably cry even more when he gets voted off the ABC show tonight at 9p. He just comes off so arrogant, that you wonder who wants to vote for him to keep him the competition. I know I wouldn’t miss and his nasally voice. Plus unlike the 3 people who scored below him, he doesn’t have the sports following to save him or a partner that is well liked. So Jimmy Kimmel be prepared to interview him tonight at 12:05a and make sure to ask him, so two weeks you said you were going to win the mirror ball trophy and here you are…
BTW here are some of the good dances from last night. Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa were hot sexy hot doing the Lambada and Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel were just awwwdorable doing the Charleston! Kelly could totally play Roxie in Chicago now!
