We are used to seeing Tom Bergeron with a huge smile on his face as he hosts shows like Dancing with the Stars and America’s Funniest Videos, but he donned a much different expression while filming the movie The Messenger. Amazing how different he looks when he frowns because I could barely recognize him.
I do not know if the film is a drama or he is pissed because that he is wearing a Corduroy suit during an LA heat wave; so I am going to go with it is a mixture of both.
BTW am I the only one who did not know he wanted to act? I always think of him as a quick witted host.

William Shatner’s ‘genius move’ to get out of Dancing with the Stars |

When you think of all of the ideal celebrities who Dancing with the Stars should cast to be on the ABC show, William Shatner seems like he would be on the top of the list. Sadly though, we will not be seeing him on the dancing competition program. He came up with a brilliant way to get out of it. The Star Trek leader revealed on Twitter his secret, “See? I was smart! I latched on to @Tom_Bergeron as a friend to disqualify myself! 😉👍🏻 #geniusmove.” Too bad we will not see his genius dance moves in the ballroom. Therefore, I think they need to get rid of that rule because we need the Shat and Josh Groban on the program.
BTW how does Captain Kirk’s friend feel about his evil plan? Tom Bergeron Tweeted back, “So our ‘friendship’ has just been a clever ruse to avoid competing on @DancingABC? That’s such a sneaky, Kirk-ish thing to do! #RomulanEars.” Poor Tom.
To find out which “stars” are not friends with Bergeron, in other words who will be participating on the 25th edition, you will have to tune into Good Morning America next Wednesday morning.

Dancing with the Stars is making a big change for its 25th season |

During past seasons, Dancing with the Stars has cast controversial people like Bristol Palin, Rick Perry and Marla Maples to compete on the show for ratings, but not this upcoming one. Tom Bergeron told KABC’s George Pennacchio that the 25th season will “make you feel good. Expect a celebratory season without heavy drama!” I am all for that because I hate the stunt casting. I want it to be about the dancing and with people who are real stars. Something that has not been part of the show for a while.
When it comes to who I want to put on their dancing shows, I really hope they get Baby Daddy’s Melissa Peterman, The Gong Show’s host Tommy Maitland and Perfect Stranger’s Bronson Pinchot, who has been trying to lose weight since he saw himself on Battle of the Network Stars, to join the show. Who do you want to see on season 25? ABC has not announced when we will find out who will be competing, but it should be soon because the season premiere is less than a month away on September 18th.
UPDATE: George Pennacchio says that they will announce the new cast of Dancing with the Stars this Thursday!

William Shatner is 86 years old, Tom Bergeron is almost 25 years younger than him and Josh Groban is about 25 years younger than the Dancing with the Stars host. Even though there is 50 years between the three men, that did not stop them from doing 21 shots of beer when they were hanging out.
Could you imagine those three men drunk together? That would be a laugh out loud riot. The Shat would probably talk even slower that he normally, Grobs would sing corny songs with his sexy voice and The Berg is giving commentary about it all. In other words a blast that I wish I was at because it would be a day I would never forget!

Last month, Julianne Hough finally said I do after several failed engagements. Before she walked down the aisle, she always looked very feminine and showed off her curves. That was then, this is now and now is a much different story because here she is dressed from head to toe in fishing attire. Gone is in the sexy dance and hello is the wife who does not care what she looks like.
But do not worry, this fashion statement was 11 years in the making and I do not think it is going to stick like the smell of fish is sticking to her skin.
