Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller is going to judge on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars |

Dancing with the Stars has been using guest judges, like Donny Osmond and Julianne Hough, on the ABC show this season and on Monday they are hitting a big fat low. That’s because Dance Moms screaming dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller, is going to be sitting along side Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.
Hopefully they can find a table big enough to fit her huge ego. Something I am sure that will shrink as the episode goes on because two of the pros, Mark Ballas and Derek Hough, have already spoken out negatively against, what they say is, her abusive teaching style. I am sure they are not going to take her seriously and will bite her head off like she allegedly tried to bite Kelly’s finger off last year, if she says the wrong thing to her. I am also sure that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will also give her grief if she says some thing nasty to him. This is not Lifetime, so they are not going to kiss her a$$.
I am going to tune in just to watch her eat some humble pie, unlike, well you know where I am going…
Now while I know who she is, I am sure most of the DWTS viewers do not. I don’t think they are going to like her aggressive ways and loud raspy voice. I mean, she is the first unknown to sit at the judges table since the show started and with all the horrible changes they have made this season, the loyal viewers might say enough is enough.
Seriously, why are they going with her? There are so many other former-DWTS contenders who would love the opportunity that Donny Osmond had. I even read a rumor that his sister, Marie wanted to be a guest judge.
Oh well, it is things like this that make me so happy I gave up this show a few seasons ago. It also makes me feel really embarrassed to admit that I still watch Dance Moms. I wish I could quit that show too. Please help me!

Did Dance Moms’ Brooke Hyland diss Abby Lee Miller in her music video? |
March 5th, 2014 under Dance Moms, Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

A few months (weeks on Dance Moms) ago Kelly Hyland looked to have touched Abby Lee Miller’s face and pulled her hair during a confrontation, and was immediately gone from the Abby Lee Dance Company with her two daughters, Brooke and Paige. Even though Brooke is not dancing there any more she is still singing and has released a music video for her new song, Mean to Me. The video starts out with an intimidating over weight woman, who looks and sounds a lot like her former dance teacher, coming into the classroom and being mean to her. So you have to wonder if this is their way of getting back at Abby Lee for the way she treated them on the show? If they were, I think they were nice to hire an actress who was a lot smaller than the real thing. What do you think?

There’s a new mom on Dance Moms tonight |

Tonight at 9p on Lifetime’s Dance Moms, Abby Lee Miller follows through on her threat to replace one of the girls. Well she doesn’t necessarily replace anyone, just yet, but she brings in a new Chloe to challenge the old Chloe. Of course this brings conflict among the mothers especially since the new mom is starting trouble with the old ones. Will she last? You just have to watch to find out.
And make sure to watch the preview for next week’s episode that has already been making headlines. See the start of infamous cat fight between Abby Lee Miller and Kelly. I am Team Kelly.

Dance Moms’ Christi’s ominous Tweet |

Last week TMZ reported that Dance Moms’ Kelly was arrested, but not charged, with allegedly getting into a cat fight with the show’s huge star Abby Lee Miller back in November. The “fight” was reportedly recorded by the show. When I asked a rep from Lifetime if and when it would air, all they said was “No comment”.
Well today one of the Dance Moms, Christi, Tweeted “I would LOVE for America to know how poorly we are treated. And it’s a shame because SOMEONE is making millions off of us.” As of this posting, she has yet to elaborate what that means.
But this is not the first time that she wished America really got to see what doesn’t make the show. Back in October, she Tweeted, “I wish America could see how horrible Abby REALLY is to Chloe. They show her NICE side. Awful human being.” They’ve been showing the dance teacher’s, who never dances, good side towards Chloe? Imagine what we don’t see. Better yet, don’t because no adult should treat a kid as badly as we have seen one much older woman treat the young girls on the episodes that have aired thus far.
When Dance Moms first started, I liked the show because I love dancing. As the show has gone on, I am finding it hard to watch because Abby Lee Miller seems to have given in to her newfound fame and to me has become more of a bully to the kids, moms and competitors as the show has gone on. Because of that I have a hard time watching and hearing (her voice is like chalk on a chalkboard) the way she interacts with everyone, especially her students. I say you don’t have to have kids to be horrified by the way she talks to them on the show. I wish she’d watch it and see how disgusting she comes off to people like me. But I think she sees the way she is portrayed as a good thing because she seems to gets worse and worse with each episode. And TBH, I am not sure how much longer I can take it. I am sure there are a lot of former-fans who feel like I do.
I know reality shows are not 100% real, but it is still an image that is being sent out over the airwaves. Is the persona that Abby Lee Miller wants us to see of her, what we see on the show? I personally wouldn’t want anyone to perceive me as I perceive her from the show. And I have been described as a b!tch at a former workplace, but I wouldn’t want the world to see me like that. Would you?
Now back to Christi, you might be asking why hasn’t she left the show. She Tweeted back in February, “I’m back because it IS my job to be there. I have a contract. And I walked out and the show wanted me back.” No word when said contract expires, but it will be interesting to see if she and some of the other moms will renew. To me the show won’t be worth watching without them. I feel they are a bigger part of the show that Abby Lee Miller. I say, she is replaceable.
Finally Lifetime, when you do another one of those reunion shows, please don’t have the producer, Jeff Collins, host it. He is no Andy Cohen. I would rather have a neutral party be the moderator. Who’s with me?

Dance Moms season finale will shock you over and over again! |
September 10th, 2013 under Dance Moms, Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

It is time for the third season finale of Dance Moms tonight at 8p on Lifetime and you don’t want to miss this shocking episode.
It is finally time for Nationals and Abby Lee Miller is taking the moms and the girls to New Orleans for the competition. When they get there, she will make the girls compete against each other to see who will get the solos at Nationals. Being the tyrant that she is, she decides to bring Peyton and that means Leslie is back too.
Now that they are all down in New Orleans, the moms get some time away from the pressure and have a drink or two or more. Things will get so bad that two of them will get in to a physical fight on the street. The next day when all the moms are together again, one of them declares she has had enough and she’s leaving right then and there. So when Abby Lee hears the news, she sends at least one person home before the competition.
So down at least two girls, will they win Nationals again or will they go home the biggest losers (2nd place) of the night. You will just have to tune in to find out. And make sure to watch until the end because Abby has a big announcement.
BTW Blake McGrath choreographs a dance for the Candy Apples that I thought was a million timea better than Abby’s gimmicky tribute to Hurricane Katrina. Yeah she went there, but will it pay off?
If you can’t get enough of Abby Lee Miller’s voice, that is all raspy because of her screaming, then you can see her look like an idiot on Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition when she tries to do her best Lady Gaga. Why? Because the night is all about Mother Monster and she makes an appearance on the episode.
All I will tell you the episode is that the judges don’t go gaga over the dances and the dancer are not living for their applause.
