Rachel Bloom revealed something from her teenage years, I never heard of before. The Golden Globe winning actress Tweeted, “Years ago I repeatedly took out the bra I was wearing when I made out with my crush and smelled it to re-live the moment.” Have you ever done that? Because I sure as heck didn’t. But then again my bra was off so fast, it didn’t have time to create a scent.
Tune into Crazy Ex Girlfriend on The CW tonight at 9p to see if she has a song that will finally top Heavy Boobs.
Crazy Ex Girlfriend is back for its second season tonight on The CW at 9p and here are a bunch of moments we didn’t see during the first one. Why? Because they were mistakes and they don’t show them on television. Thankfully they do show them on the internet.
So sit back and enjoy the crazy stuff you didn’t see because it makes the lovable show even more lovable.
Before Rachel Bloom was the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, she did a crazy Katherine Hepburn auditioning for Space Jam to land a spot on Saturday Night Live. What was SNL thinking by not hiring the 25 year old back in 2012?
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend doesn’t shy away from the subjects of their songs like sex with a stranger, coming out as bi and my personal favorite heavy boobs. Yesterday on The CW Musical Comedy, Santino Fontana sang about giving the crazy ex-girlfriend, who is current girlfriend, a UTI. At first I thought it was a little crazy, but then I found myself singing and dancing to it. It seriously is hard not to. They actually make that burning sensation you get when you pee seem joyous. At least when it is a UTI and not a STD.
Seriously, can you imagine what it must’ve been like in the writers room when Rachel Bloom and them were writing the lyrics for this song. C’mon it had to be fun to come up with, “My penis is the reason, you may die, die, die. I gave you a UTI,” or, “If it hurts to take a leak, well that is just part of my technique.” Crazy, right? You know, to come up with a song about a pain in your pelvis and make it sound like Elvis.
Now, I just want to say, I wasn’t a big fan of the show when it first started. But then after a few episodes they made Rebecca more likeable and the show quickly became one of my favorites. If you haven’t watched it, you should catch up on the award winning first season on The CW’s app before the season finale on Monday at 8p
Rachel Bloom was on The Late Show yesterday and Stephen Colbert told her he doesn’t understand how musicals works. Even though he had a Christmas musical special on Comedy Central a few years ago. But I digress.
Then all of sudden, without warning, he broke into song and they did the rest of her interview in a musical format. Bringing a smile to all those who watched.
Almost as much as any boy who watched her sing Heavy Boobs on My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on Monday’s episode.
