Late night talk show hosts like to play pranks on their guests and their audience, but Emily Mortimer turned the tables around on The Late Late Show yesterday. The Newsroom star told Craig Ferguson that she wanted him to try a meditation technique that works for her and he agreed. What happens next is something you will do to your friends when given a chance!
About time someone finally got a late night host, too bad it wasn’t Jimmy Kimmel who is the King of late night pranks! Maybe one of the JKL bookers will make my wish come true and book Mortimer as a guest so she can prank another host!

Now that The Late Late Show has some new competition, it looks like we are going to see how low Craig Ferguson will go to win. Win the game of Limbo vs Ashton Kutcher that is. I honestly don’t think he could care less who he is up against in that timeslot. But when it comes to bending his body under a stick, that he takes very seriously.

Justin Long was a guest on The Late Late Show and he shared a video he made for Craig Ferguson. Today was National Squirrel Hug Appreciation Day and Long was longing for a hug from one. So after several attempts and a rabies shot, will he finally get one? You just have to watch this cute video to find out.

We all know that Denis Leary’s vocabulary consists of a lot of four-letter words; and yesterday he got bleeped on The Late Late Show and it wasn’t for using one of them. The Rescue Me star was trying to rescue Craig Ferguson from his cold and was telling the former-alcoholic which meds he should take. Well the censors bleeped him, so sadly we don’t what is the good sh!t to be on.
Oh well, they say laughter is the best medicine, so make sure to tune into Denis’ new show Sirens on USA Network that debuts on March 6th because the show about Chicago EMTs will have you laughing hysterically.

Mark Wahlberg is on The Late Late Show and Craig Ferguson asked him if he’d give someone like Justin Bieber advice since he too was rambunctious guy when he was The Beebs’ age? So The Fighter admitted to the CBS late night host that he has spoken to him, but that no kid at that age is going to listen to an older person’s advice. In fact he went on to say that people ask him all the time what current day Mark Wahlberg would say to a teenage Marky Mark; and the kid with good vibrations would probably tell him to “Shut the F up” before punching him in the face. So the Pain & Gain star is afraid Bieber would do the same and he added, “It wouldn’t be a good look if I got beat up by Justin Bieber at this stage of my career.” The image was so delicious for Ferguson that he needed a moment to drink it all in. As do we, as do we.
So does Wahlberg actually think that Bieber could beat him up? Of course not, but just the thought that could happen is a nightmare enough for him and a sweet dream for us.
