So on Thursday a rumor was started that NBC was cancelling The Jay Leno Show at 10p and moving him back to his old time slot of 11:35p for a half hour thus moving Conan O’Brien to 12:05a and Jimmy Fallon to 1:05a and the late night world went into a frenzy. Today’s rumor is that it is Conan’s choice whether he wants to stay or go and there is specualtion that Fox has made him offer to come on over to their network. Being late night show hosts whether they are on NBC or not they had to make fun of the whole situation. Above are the hosts that are directly affected by the news and below are the two that I watch! I love Craig Ferguson’s reaction to it on The Late Late Show and in the last video from Jimmy Kimmel Live! make sure to watch it at starting 1:20 in, it is the biggest payoff of all of the jokes!!!
So I recently started watching The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson that airs live on CBS at 12:37a, considering he has done just over 1,000 episodes and I only saw about 150 of them, and I never knew how freaking funny his chats with Steven Wright were until last night. Steven Wright is a quirky comedian as it is, but put him with Craig and you will find yourself laughing out loud uncontrollably. I watched the above interview and it reminded me of when David Letterman interviewed Joaquin Phoenix, awkward but unlike the Letterman interview it wasn’t malicious on the host’s part.
After watching the interview I wanted to see if Wright’s 11 other appearances on the show would be just as hilarious and here are few of them that were if not more so. Hey it is Friday and we all need to end the week with a hardy laugh so sit back and get one watching all of these clips!

Tonight on CBS’ The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS at 12:37a Kathy Griffin tells him how she says was fired from CNN for saying f*cking and explains why she “accidentally” said it.
Craig Ferguson “I thought you were fantastic. You were hilarious. But apparently at some point you said a curse word. I must have fallen asleep or gone to the bathroom or something,, but what was it you said?â€
Kathy Griffin – “I am sure you are confused if you think in any way that I would ever try to curse on television how dare you, you son-of-a-handsome-gun. I am really watching myself. Can you tell? I am really on my best freaking behavior. It’s killing me.â€
Craig Ferguson – “Why, did they fire youâ€
Kathy Griffin –“…I don’t think I have really done a job well until I get fired. So am I getting fired from this phone call? Tell me what’s going on?â€
Craig Ferguson – “No I was wondering if you got fired from CNN. Did you get fired for saying F*@# on TV?
Kathy Griffin – “Well really it was a miscommunication. Because we were talking a lot about the balloon boy Falcon Heene and I was amused by if you watch the worldwide coverage of that story then you can hear his first name pronounced in many different ways and in fact his own mother has an accent and there were times that it sounded like she pronounced the name of her own child falcon as a verb that adult film actors use when – they are fucking.â€
Right before Christmas the D-List star told him (in the above interview) that if she cursed during her New Year’s Eve appearance that it was in her contract that she would have to give back the money they paid her to appear on the special. So it makes sense why she went to Craig to tell him why she used the word and why she she says she was fired from doing any more paid appearances on their network. But just like The View I am sure she will be back on the air once again.
BTW when it comes to her cursing, I am sure she knew she was going to curse at some point during her live stint. I am not sure I have ever seen her do any interview without cursing, but they luckily were able to bleep her unlike CNN that stupidly chose not to used the 7 second delay before the final countdown of the year. It is Kathy Griffin, she is so desperate for attention.

Yesterday Rosie Perez was on The Late Late Show and she told Craig Ferguson that the dress she was wearing almost didn’t happen because she forget her strapless bra at home. She then told him that she was asking around if anyone a strapless bra in her size and once she revealed it Craig lost complete focus of anything else during the interview.
I am not a fan of Rosie Perez’s normally, but she was hysterical on the show and I have a new appreciation for her. If you have 11 minutes to spare, take it to watch their chat! Seriously if this is how the first interview of the New Year went on his show I can’t wait to see how the rest of them go in 2010 every weeknight on CBS at 12:37a!
BTW at the end of the show Craug Ferguson openly admitted he is a breast man!
Times are tough for Betty White and she told Craig Ferguson that she has taken a job as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army in order to make end’s meat. What happen once she tells Craig why she is ringing bells for a living will have your bell ringing out loud in laughter.
