Dick Van Dyke is 95 years old. Therefore, it is imperative that he gets the COVID-19 vaccine. Thus, he got it.

Since he is Dick Van Dyke, he had to make everyone around him happy. So he sang A Spoonful of Sugar from Mary Poppins with some of his fans at UCLA Health. For a few minutes, no one cared about coronavirus. Isn’t that sweet like a spoonful of sugar?

Most Los Angeles productions will remain on hiatus longer
December 30th, 2020 under Coronavirus. [ Comments: none ]

During the last two weeks of the year, Hollywood is shut down for the holidays. Normally, they go back into production during the first two weeks of January. Not this year because coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire. Therefore, SAG-AFTRA asked them to extend return dates.

“Most entertainment productions will remain on hiatus until the second or third week of January if not later.” Gabrielle Carteris, SAG-AFTRA President, said in a statement. “This means that the number of our member performers working on sets right now is reduced. Our safety protocols ensure appropriate precautions for the holiday hiatus period including additional time for testing prior to the resumption of production.”

This union and other unions will continue to monitor the situation to make sure everyone the set is as safe as they can be.

This is a smart decision on their part because Ellen DeGeneres, The Talk’s Carrie Ann Inaba and Sharon Osbourne, and SWAT’s Shemar Moore have all tested positive for COVID-19 in the last few weeks.

As much as I want television to return to normal. I want everyone who works on these shows to be safe and healthy.

Shemar Moore got the Christmas gift that no one wants this year. He tested positive for coronavirus.

“I HAVE COVID!!!! Just found out moments ago… I am gonna stay wrapping presents… Yes… I have been tested and told that I HAVE COVID,” The actor wrote. “I thought I had food poisoning… chills and aches all day today… still can smell, taste, no cough, no runny nose….I have to accept test results… I feel fine now… but I have to be responsible!!!! My Xmas n New Years is clearly not gonna be the best… my last year and a half has not been the best… but I WILL BE OKAY!!!! This is a hard time for ALL OF US…the WORLD!!! But… I BELIEVE in the sun shining through the rain!! Stay safe and appreciate everything and everybody you have and had!! MUCH LOVE!!!! #wearamask”

Moore lost his mom earlier this year. While 2020 sucked for him and so many of us. Next year, as we start to return to normal, we will appreciate all the things we took for granted, like celebrating the holidays with our loved ones.

Hopefully, Moore will be better soon.

Last week, Ellen DeGeneres revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19. Today, she gave an update on her health.

“I am feeling 100%,” the daytime talk show host said. “I am feeling really good.” However, she did add that she had excruciating back pain. Now, she knows how her crew feels because she is reportedly such a pain in the a$$.

Anyways, is it just me, or does her voice sound different? I think it sounds like she sucked on helium.
