This is how all Christmas songs sounds like by December 25th
December 16th, 2016 under Christmas Music. [ Comments: none ]

You know that feeling you get when you the first Christmas song of the year? It’s like drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace on a cold winter’s day. You know, it makes you feel all warm inside.
Then by December 25th, you feel like the snow that has pissed and pooped on by several big dogs every time you hear one those holiday classics?
Well someone named Grinchy took all 100 Carols on the Billboard Holiday Charts and mashed it into one tune. It is like being forced to only eat Fruit Cake and down it with Egg Nog for a month straight. Pure torture that yet you can stop listening to.

Did Stephen Colbert write the worst Christmas song ever
December 13th, 2016 under Christmas Music, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

Paul McCartney’s song Wonderful Christmas was named the worst Christmas song ever. Stephen Colbert is not going to let that record stand, so he wrote one that he thinks is worse. Norah Jones and him debuted Christmas Is Now yesterday on The Late Show and my cat loves it. It is her favorite song of the holiday.
I don’t Macca’s song is the worst song of the season. I can’t think which one is worse, can you?

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas with Josh Groban!
November 30th, 2016 under Christmas Music, Josh Groban. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight was the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center and NBC invited Josh Groban to sing his version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I don’t know if it was the acoustics of his boisterous voice bouncing off all of the NYC buildings or the rain falling down around him, but this Holiday classic never sounded more beautiful. It felt like Christmas even though it is still 25 shopping days away.
Thankfully, you get that feeling whenever you want because the single is available on JoshGroban.com.

Sing released a special Christmas themed promo to promote their animated movie that comes out on December 21st and I want to see this film even more now.
That video is just pure happiness and we need things like this even more now. Didn’t it just bring a smile to your face?

Do you find this Zombie Nativity scene offensive?
December 23rd, 2014 under Christmas Music. [ Comments: 2 ]

Sycamore Township in Ohio is so offended by Jasen Dixon’s Zombie Nativity that they ordered him to take it down by the day after Christmas or face legal actions. Now, I should clarify that Sycamore Township does not say in their paperwork that they find the content in violation, Fox 19 says instead it says, “Sycamore Township does not allow structures to be located in the front or the side yard to occupy more than 35 percent of the area. Also, the primary structure must be three feet from the street, and six feet from the house.” I have to wonder if other houses that have the traditional Nativity scene got the same violation?
Dixon runs the 13 Rooms of Doom, and used some of the leftover props for his Christmas display. Several of his uptight neighbors complained and now he is being forced to take it down. You would think that people who live on Vorhees (Jason’s last name in the Friday the 13th franchise) Lane would be a little more understanding, but I guess not. Especially, if you think about, Jesus kind of was a Zombie. You know, he died and then rose again, which is basically what they are. I am not trying to offend anyone, just stating a thought.
And what are you thoughts about Dixon’s Zombie Christmas? I love the baby Jesus! But I am weird that way!
