It would not be Christmas without the holiday movies on the Hallmark Channel. Those telemovies would not be the same without music for the season. This year, they teamed up with Warner Music Nashville to release an album.
The record includes covers and original songs that were recorded for their movies. Now you can have a Hallmark Christmas 365 days a year. Because who doesn’t want to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year all year round.
December 25th might be less than three weeks away, but I have yet to find my Christmas joy this year.
That all changed when I saw this video from Freeform of Santa Claus doing some of the biggest dance crazes like the Hustle, the Macarena, the Nae Nae, Thriller, Single Ladies, Y-M-C-A and Gangnam Style to name a few. The only one he is missing is the Chicken Dance. Maybe he was too chicken to do it?
Whether old Saint Nick was or wasn’t doesn’t matter, he brought happiness to this kid who will never grow up. I hope he does the same for you.
We are used to hearing about how people calling the cops on scary Halloween decorations, but a Christmas display in Austin had one man dialing 9-1-1 according to KVUE.
The Heerlein family wants to win a neighborhood contest, so they decided to recreate that infamous scene with Clark Griswold from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Well, I guess a passerby did not see the movie and thought the fake dummy was a real one. Thus, he tried to move the ladder to rescue the guy, but that did not work. Therefore, he called the police who showed up to a big surprise.
Now the family has a sign on their lawn letting people know that there is not a dead person hanging from their roof. It is just a life-sized dummy that looks like the real deal.
When it comes to if they won the contest, we don’t know. But I think they should because who had the po-po called on them?
After the first season of American Idol, someone thought it was a good idea to give Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini the movie From Justin to Kelly. It bombed Therefore for the second season, they opted not to do the same for Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard.
Now 15 years later, Ruben and Clay of them are finally getting a show together. The American Idol winner and runnerup will be doing a Christmas show at the Imperial Theater on Broadway for 3 weeks only starting on December 7th. They describe it as a Christmas Carol family fun pageant spectacular reunion show. What that means, only time will tell.
Do I think it is a good idea? I think it is 15 years too late, but yet I want to go see it. Do you?
Even though Christmas is still 118 days away, that is not stopping William Shatner from announcing that he has an album coming out just for the holiday. It is his first one dedicated to the season and he is calling it Shatner Claus, appropriately enough.
The CD will feature several holiday classic duets with celebrities like Iggy Pop and Brad Paisley. There is also an original tune on it called One for You, One for Me.
I predict this December we will all be singing his unique take on the Christmas Carols we know all so well like Feliz Navidad. Thankfully, the record is coming out on October 26th, so we have plenty of time to learn all the tracks by the New Year.
