NBC announced today that Emmy winner and comedy superstar Chevy Chase ("Caddyshack," "Fletch") begins filming this week on NBC’s "Law & Order." Chase guest stars as a television celebrity who is pulled over for drunk driving while wearing blood-soaked clothes, and whose religious prejudice comes out after his arrest. The episode titled "In Vino Veritas" is slated to air on Friday, November 3, 10-11 p.m ET/PT. Chase first came to national prominence as a writer and performer with the original cast of NBC’s "Saturday Night Live," for which he won two Emmy Awards. He has since starred in more than 20 films, including "Foul Play," "Caddy Shack," "National Lampoon’s Vacation" and its three sequels, "Fletch" and "The Three Amigos." Most recently, Chase started opposite Naomi Watts in "Ellie Parker," which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival. He will next be seen the in the comedy "Funny Money," which opened this year’s Sarasota Film Festival in March.

Wow, nice to see he can still get acting roles. Actually it is nice to see he is still alive! Oh now I get it, his episode is like the Mel Gibson case. Kind of lame, but I will probally check it out because there is nothing else on Friday’s at 10p.
