Tonight on Sh!t My Dad Says William Shatner sings Right Said Fred’s I’m Too Sexy. That preview hurt my ears, but I can’t wait to see even more of it when the show airs on CBS at 8:30p.
Before the Shat is The Sh!t, his old Star Trek co-star George Takei guest stars on The Big Bang Theory.
After you need to get I’m Too Sexy out of your head tune in to CSI at 9p where the show introduces you to a new serial killer Sqweegel who is based on a character from Creator/Executive Producer Anthony Zuiker’s 2nd book Dark Prophecy. Sqweegel goes after the respected women of Vegas who have shameful secrets and one of those women is legendary actress Ann-Margaret. Looks like Sqweegel could be coming back and after you watch the episode you kind of want him to get his own spin off because he is that intriguing.
Medium is back with all new episodes on CBS tonight at its new time 8p. During season premiere the show goes all Freaky Friday when mom Allison and her daughter Bridgette switch bodies. The two have to try to figure out what they can do to get their old bodies back and it involves a boy that has a crush on the middle daughter? Will they be able to get their bodies back or will they forever live in the other one’s? Tune in to the 7th premiere tonight at 8p for a show that never gets old.
After Medium at 9p CSI: NY is back on a new day and time with Sela Wars joining the cast and then at 10p Blue Bloods premieres. Tom Selleck returns to weekly TV in this family police drama. Selleck is the NYC Police Commissioner, his eldest son Danny played by Donnie Wahlberg is a detective who takes on tough cases, his daughter Bridget Moynahan is a DA and his youngest son Jamie, Will Estes, plays just joined the force. The family is still dealing with the loss of their son/brother who died on the job and Jamie will be recruited to take over the work that he was doing.
Wahlberg should be up for an Emmy next year because his performance as a cop who will do anything to make sure justice is served is absolutely dead on. The show focuses how the family works together on the job and at home.
I shouldn’t like this show, but I sincerely do! The acting caliber is just outstanding and the writing matches their talents. So tune in to a show that is guaranteed to be an instant hit tonight and every Friday at 10p
CBS starts the night off with How I Met Your Mother at 8p and the show begins with Marshall and Ted at a wedding and Lily’s husband is the best man… The show then goes to today where Lily and Marshall are still working on having a baby, but they are have an interesting problem. Robin isn’t taking her break up so well and she has really let herself go. Barney is…Barney. Ted has set his eyes on a girl at the bar, but Barney calls dibs. Who will get that mystery woman? Oh and Rachel Bilson is back, how will she react to Ted? Most importantly is the Mother in tonight’s episode? Tune into find at 8p. Then at 8:30p there is a new Rules of Engagement followed by Two and a Half Men.
Then at 9:30p Chuck Lorre’s new show Mike & Molly debuts. The show is about an overweight cop who has a crush on a teacher from an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. Mike the cop has to deal with smart a$$ partner who really has buddies best interests at heart. Molly lives with her skinny mom and sister, who tease her with food and her sister has her own addiction….which will be interesting when Mike meets her.
But back to Mike and Molly, a lot of people are going off on this show because they say it is about overweight people, but it is about so much more. It is about a couple from the beginning stages of their relationship and moving forward as they get closer and we know Chuck Lorre is good at the formula due to three little words Dharma and Greg. Billy Gardell who plays is going to be a break out star because he has perfect timing with comedy. Finally Melissa McCarthy is the lead as Molly and she handles it perfectly. And I freaking love having Swoosie Kurtz back on weekly TV because she such an amazing actress and nails every role she does. So fall in love with Mike & Molly tonight at 9:30p
After 20 cycles of Survivor airing on CBS Thursdays, it is moving to Wednesday at 8p tonight. So it is out with the old and in with the new. Oh wait, I mean it is the old vs the young on Survivor: Nicaragua. It is the under 30s vs the over 40s and one of those over 40s is the legendary football coach Jimmy Johnson. As a University of Miami Hurricane, I was nervous to watch our school’s best ever coach battle it out on CBS huge reality show, but he sincerely impressed me. He is not the only one that surprised me this season, but everything about the show in general. It is like being on a new night revived the show!
So tune into Survivor tonight and every Wednesday at 8p for what should be an exciting season!
BTW am I the only one rooting for the older team, I want them to kick those young whipper snappers’ a$$es!!!
The Amazing Race might not have won the Emmy this year, but I think after this amazing watermelon to the face scene next year they will be bringing home that little gold statuette again.
In just that one moment, they have a battle as she tries to a catapult a watermelon towards a Knight’s armor, revenge because the watermelons were sick of being sacrificed for the cause so they attacked the person that was destroying them, we have an injury and it’s to the face leaving it all covered with a thick red liquid, and most importantly a b!tch who believes the war must be won even if you don’t have any feeling above the neck. If that doesn’t sound Emmy worthy to you, I don’t know what does?
Thank you CBS for slo-mo’ing and playing the second the watermelon smacks her in the face over and over! I sincerely enjoyed it.
BTW I think her TAR partner was so b!tchy to her, I think she makes Jonathan Baker seem likable. Seriously how cold was her reaction after she is like I can’t feel my face and I have a massive headache? I can’t wait to see what happens next when the show is back on September 26th!
UPDATE: I finally decided to check Brook (b!tchy friend) and Claire’s (face full of watermelon) information on The Amazing Race page and I wonder with the answer to that question was if she foreshadowing what would happen to her?
“What scares you most about traveling? The food is probably the scariest part of traveling.”
By the looks of it food really was the scariest part of her travels on the show, but not the way she was thinking!
