CBS killed more shows than one of their procedurals kill in an episode. Gone are B-Positive, Good Sam, How We Roll, and Magnum, P.I.
I have a feeling they are only going to have four comedies on the schedule in the Fall, and they are The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, Young Sheldon, and Ghosts.
Personally, I never understood why they never did a Chuck Lorre night of comedy. They had four sitcoms from him.
Once you are in business with Dick Wolf, you don’t want to get out of it. Because of that, CBS announced today that they renewed FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted for not one but two more seasons.
“Everybody who works on these three shows is over the moon about the multi-year pickups,” said Dick Wolf, executive producer and FBI brand creator. “We are all incredibly grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios. And I personally would like to thank the incredible casts, talented writers and dedicated producers, not to mention three crews who never missed an airdate despite the difficulties of producing full seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The three FBIs join The Amazing Race, Blue Bloods, Bob ♥ Abishola, CSI: Vegas, Ghosts, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Neighborhood, Secret Celebrity Renovation, Survivor, S.W.A.T., The Equalizer, Tough As Nails, and Young Sheldon on the 2022-2023 schedule.
There are going to be plenty more Reagan family dinners in our future because CBS picked up Blue Bloods for a 13th season.
“America’s favorite first family of law enforcement is back for season 13,” said Kelly Kahl, president of CBS Entertainment. “The Reagans possess an incredible bond with audiences literally everywhere and on every platform. And in its 12th season, with over 250 episodes, BLUE BLOODS not only continues to dominate in the ratings but excels at an exceptionally high creative level. Led by the incomparable Tom Selleck, this amazing cast skillfully brings universal and relatable personal storylines to life week after week, while executive producer Kevin Wade and the skilled writing team craft compelling episodes featuring the show’s trademark mix of family dynamics and police work. We look forward to many more Reagan family dinners next season.”
The news is no surprise because it broadcast’s fourth most-watched program.
The police procedural that stars Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg joins CSI: Vegas, The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, Ghosts, Young Sheldon, the three NCISes, and SWAT on the schedule next season.
CBS is doing a competition show to find the biggest Superfan. But who are they going to be the superfans of?
Today, we found out who they are, and they are Kelsea Ballerini, Gloria Estefan, Little Big Town, LL COOL J, Pitbull, and Shania Twain.
During the six episodes, the contestants will play several rounds to determine if they are the ultimate superfan. However, it will be up to the Superstar to decide which person gets the one-in-a-lifetime prize. That will make the winner squee even more than just being crowned with the title.
I get that the producers wanted this to be music based, but I wish they would’ve gotten a Soap star to be on the show. Because their fans are not only the best, they are also the most loyal.
Superfan starts filming this week and will air later this year.
Come Dance with Me is a dancing competition from LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell. Now, you wouldn’t think that the two stars of NCIS: LA would give us a heartfelt show, but they did. That is what happens when dads go to their daughters’ dances.
So what is the show that debuts tonight at 8p on CBS about? There are plenty of kids who devote their lives to dance. They spend most of their free time in the studio learning the craft. However, there is someone that pays for it, takes them there, and cheers them on. That person is special to the child, and they get to ask that person to Come Dance with Me.
So now the kid and their parent are going to perform dance routines in front of the three judges, Jenna Dewan, Dexter Mayfield, and Tricia Miranda.
This is an excellent opportunity for them to bond in a way they haven’t done before. It is really special to see the love between the two as they connect through the love of dance and each other. Plus, the child gets to be the boss because, for once, they know more.
Having said that, none of the children are bossy. They are all excited to spend this time with their loved ones and show them what they love. While the loved one gets to experience what their child enjoys so much.
All dance moms and dads should do this. I think it will help everyone involved understand the other one more.
But that is not the point of this show. This is what Dancing with the Stars used to be, fun, exciting, heartwarming, and lots of fantastic dancing where you can’t take your eyes off of the dancers. These kids will wow you! I can’t believe they are between 9 and 14 years old because they dance like pros.
There wasn’t one dance that disappointed me, and because of that, I am going to be back every week to see who wins the $100,000 grand prize.
We need a reality show that is not bitter and all about the judges. We need one that is about the contestants growing and having fun. And the best part is seeing kids get along with their parents that are sacrificing so much for them.
It makes me miss my parents even more, but not in a sad way.
Come Dance with Me is the wholesome fun that we need because there is so much negativity out there. And that is why I can’t say anything negative about the show. Well, that and there isn’t anything negative to say.
So tune in for a program that the whole family can enjoy together. There is not enough of that on television anymore.
