Former Blink 182 leader Tom Delonge has lashed out at his former band’s sound. The band went on “indefinite hiatus” last year after 11 years together, though bandmember Mark Hoppus has since said the band split over Delonge’s indecision on whether he wanted to tour or not. However in a live video posted on Youtube Delonge declared: “I do not want to be in a bullshit pop band with some bullshit pop songs while you drive your fucking bullshit car and sing along to it like you’re some 14 year-old girl.” Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker have since gone on to form (+44) together, while DeLonge set up new band Angels And Airwaves. I am so boycotting anything he ever does from this day on. Blink 182 is one of the best bands ever and to see him sh!t all over it, it is sad. In a few years when A&A is no where to be heard, he will be begging to get back in to Blink 182. I hope they tell his tattooed ass…no way loser!
The drummer of the band Blink 182 says that Shanna Moakler — the former Miss USA who appeared with him in an MTV reality show — is to blame, not the show. “[MTV] doesn’t break up relationships,” Barker told Spin magazine. “What breaks up a relationship is when people are concerned with being some crazy celebrity. And my wife was.” Meanwhile, Barker’s bandmate, Mark Hoppus, blames another member of Blink 182 for the demise of the popular band. Hoppus told the mag that Tom DeLonge didn’t want to travel — and insisted on recording all the music in his hometown of San Diego. When the mag asked Hoppus if he had a message for DeLonge, he replied: “Your selfish nature is destroying everything that the three of us, our crew, and everyone else worked so hard to do. Name anyone else in the world who gets to travel, gets paid ridiculous amounts of money, brings their family anywhere, and then has two months off just to chill. And that’s not enough for you?”
Paris Hilton and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker aren’t staying under the radar after his estranged wife confronted Hilton this week in a jealous rage. I hear Hilton and Barker requested seats next to each other, but at separate tables, at tonight’s Social House grand opening party at Treasure Island. Hilton and Shanna Moakler, of "Dancing With the Stars," got into a scrap at a Los Angeles nightclub on Wednesday.

BLINK 182 drummer TRAVIS BARKER and wife SHANNA MOAKLER decided to end their marriage because she agreed to become a contestant on DANCING WITH THE STARS. The couple announced they were separating earlier this month (08AUG06), amid rumours the former MISS USA was unfaithful during their marriage. However, a source close to Moakler tells American publication Us Weekly her participation in the show was the real reason behind the split, saying, "When he found out, he flipped and told her he wanted a wife, not a Hollywood socialite." Barker posted a rant on his MySpace Web page on 14 August (06), claiming he first heard about his wife’s new gig from his real estate agent. The couple starred in the MTV reality show MEET THE BARKERS and have three children together, ATIANA, 7, LANDON, 2 and ALABAMA, eight months. Moakler has slammed reports she was unfaithful during their marriage and tells the magazine, "I’m seriously concerned for his mental well-being. "Perhaps the lifestyle that he leads is taking its toll. For the sake of our children I hope he seeks help."
