Before we knew that Jack Black was funny, he went to Bill Murray to learn how to be funny in Cradle Will Rock. How funny was the 28-year-old dummy in that 1999 movie?

It has been almost 27 years since Bill Murray was stuck in endless Groundhog’s Day loop. Sadly, he is still stuck in it. However, after all of that time, he made a new friend, the groundhog, and he got the new Jeep Gladiator. That is the only thing that keeps him going as he lives the same day over and over and over and over again.
Bravo to the people who came up with this advertisement. This is what Super Bowl ads are supposed to be. The best commercials of the year.
If someone asked you, who is one of the coolest actors in Hollywood, almost all of us would say, Bill Murray. He takes the greatest selfies with fan, does the most original interviews and he just seems like the guy you totally want hang out with for day because you know it will be a once in a lifetime experience.
We are not alone. Directed by Tommy Avallone, Executive Produced Glen Zipper, and Producers Max Paolucci, Derrick Kunzer, Raymond Esposito and Kevin Sisti Jr. are telling the story of the infamous urban legend. The man of mystery that everyone who meets him has a story to tell.

Yesterday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Bill Murray performed a 7 minute medley of three songs from West Side Story with Jan Vogler & Friends. Somewhere, I Feel Pretty and America are just three of the songs on their album New Worlds that is out now.
When it comes to the performance, it is no Cher, but it will leave you smiling. Who doesn’t love to see Murray belting out, “I Feel Pretty!” The best moment comes at the very end when he sings this line from America, “Puerto Rico’s in America!” He got a huge applauds for a line that was written over 60 years ago. Wonder if Stephen Sondheim knew how powerful that line would be in October of 2017 to a President who does not seem to understand that?

Last week, Bill Murray went not once but twice to see the Broadway musical Groundhog Day based on 1993 movie and yesterday the producers announced that the show will be closing on September 17th. According to Page Six, his appearance helped sales but it was too little, too late.
This is the second show this month to announce its closing. Last week, The Great Comet said its final performance is also next month. Maybe if Broadway lowered their prices, more people could afford to see them. I know that is why I have not been to see one in a long time.
