90210's Shenae Grimes and Melrose Place's Ashlee Simpson were seen holding hands as they headed into a John Mayer concert last night. Now we know what could bring the two shows together when they premiere on The CW on September 8th…John Mayer! BTW I wonder if Ashlee cleared it with her big sis Jessica Simpson before she went to see her ex?
We are a month and a half away from the hottest show coming to TV this fall, and The CW gave Melrose Place posters that are as sizzling hot as the show itself!!! The CW used to give Gossip Girl the sexiest posters in the TV world, but now that title is going to Melrose Place. Seriously these posters capture the feel of the show and I can't wait to see how it will all play out starting on Septemeber 9th at 9p or basically 09/09/09 at 09pm!!! Easy to remember no?
Melrose Place 2.0 has cast another one of the former residents to guest star on The CW version. Daphne Zuniga will reprise her role as Jo for at least two episodes according to EW’s Michael Ausiello. She is the first alumni cast that isn’t Sydney or somehow related to her, so it will be interesting to see what she will be doing with the show.
Out of all the original Melrose Placers, I am not sure she would be at the top of my list to bring back because she is sort of blah. But here is something positive you know when Lisa Rinna read the news that yet someone else from the Fox version was cast before her, it makes her curl up into a ball and cry.
The CW has just released these new promos for you to get to know the new residents of Melrose Place 2.0. Now that you know them, don’t you want them to invite you into their apartment complex? As you can see this is not the old Melrose Place, it is so much better. So move into Melrose Place on September 8th, where it looks the same on the outside but the inside has been completely redecorated.
So yesterday I posted pictures of Shenae Grimes filming a drinking scene for 90210 and I asked what other cliché storyline would the new head, who is destroying the show, come up with? Well according to Access Hollywood, one of my joke cliché storylines is actually coming to show because Rumer Willis will be guest starring on an episode of the show as a lesbian.
Rumer’s character Gia has been described as a punky cute lesbian who isn’t afraid to speak her mind, a rep for The CW, which airs the teen series, told Access.
Gia will work at school paper the Blaze News alongside Navid (Michael Steger), Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Silver (Jessica Stroup).
I wonder who they are going to try to hook her up with? The Manic Depressive or the former-drug addict teenage mom? I don't think I am actually going to find out because at this rate this show is going, I think I am going to remove it from my DVR.
