What is up with 90210's Ryan Eggold's hair? Seriously who told him that having his gorgeous eyes covered up like that would be a good idea? Someone buy him a brush, a blowdryer and get him a haircut ASAP. Those eyes should not be hidden for any reason.

The CW’s 90210 is starting to film their second season and looks like from these pictures they are going with another high school show cliché storyline. Last season they made Adriana a drug addict who ODs and then is forced to go to rehab only to find out she is pregnant. Then the new head of the show made Silver suffer from Manic Depression. Now it looks like they are going to make Annie Wilson a drunk or maybe she will lose her virginity after she drinks too much. What is next someone is going to come out? Someone is going to have an eating disorder? Someone joins a gang? Someone starts to smoke cigarettes? Someone commits suicide? I better stop before the new head of the show gets an idea to add one of those hypotheticals to the show.

Melrose Place 2.0 already had two residents move in from 1.0 and now a third one is joining them according to People. Sydney Andrews aka Laura Leighton and her ex-brother-in-law/ex-husband Dr Michael Mancini aka Thomas Calabo have already moved in on the new show and now The CW confirms that Sydney’s sister and Michael’s ex-wife Jane Mancini aka Josie Bissett has also signed the lease. I mean how rude would it be for Jane not to attend her own sister’s funeral…now that she is dead dead. Although the network source did not confirm why, when and for how long Josie would be on the show. So far I am really liking who they are bringing over from 1.0 to 2.0.
BTW I watched the pilot for Melrose 2.0 and I love the show. It is not the same show it was on Fox, in ways it seems better. Unlike the original, this one is more Hollywood as in the characters actually have jobs in show business which makes sense. It really is hard to live in an apartment complex here in LA and not have someone working in the industry.
Melrose Place 2.0 premieres on The CW on September 8th at 9p after the season opener of 90210!!!

The CW is going to announce tomorrow that once again 90210 and Melrose will be together, but this time it will be on Tuesday nights. But before then they are releasing pictures from Melrose Place 2.0!!! Seriously Melrose Place looks just like it did when Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro lived there all those years ago on Fox. In fact they also look the same as they did then! I am so excited for this show!

When news broke a year ago that The CW was modernizing 90210 I was freaking excited! After the show debuted my excitement started to cool. Then when the new show runner took over in the spring, I started to give up on this show. She started creating over the top storylines that work for the picked up for the fall Melrose Place 2.0, but they do not work for this show. And wait until you see what she does tonight. It is the dumbest episode yet with stupid storylines and bad acting. At one point Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin eat some special brownies and act to be high, seriously it is one of the saddest things I have seen on network TV in a long time. These two can’t act…high. I also felt bad for Shannen Doherty who returns to take part in a stupid dream sequence with Adriana who gave birth to her baby. Will she give it up?
Instead of cancelling the spinoff for Gossip Girl and Privileged, they should cancel the crappy show runner that they hired to for 90210.
If you really want to watch it, 90210’s season finale airs tonight on The CW at 9p.
