Jerry Stiller passed away today at the age of 92 from natural causes according to Ben Stiller. His son wrote, “I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.”

Jerry Stiller is best known for the comedy act he had his wife Ann Meara, who passed away in 2015. The two of them were all over the television during the Golden Era of TV.

Then in the ’90s, his career saw a resurgence when he played Frank Constanza on Seinfeld and Arthur Spooner of The King of Queens. He also made appearances in son’s movies like both Zoolanders.

Remember him today as he lived his life, full of laughter.

This lady has the cutest reaction to seeing Ben Stiller on the subway
April 4th, 2019 under Ben Stiller. [ Comments: none ]

Ben Stiller might make millions of dollars as an actor, but that does not mean he is too good to ride the New York City subway. The other day, when he was on the train he gave up his seat to a woman. When she recognized it was him, she jumped up and got all excited to see one of her favorite actors right in front of her.

She was so thrilled, that she wanted to make sure she looked for sexy for Zoolander. Therefore, she took down her hair and made sure to get a video with him. Even though @Willsta_gram was recording the sweet encounter.

You know, now that he is single, maybe she has a chance with him? The would be such an awwwdorable couple.

Stiller does not have the greatest reputation of being a nice guy in Hollywood, but this video makes me think differently of him. I just adored his smile to everything that was going on.

Ben Stiller is giving up comedy for the time being
November 9th, 2018 under Ben Stiller. [ Comments: none ]

Let’s be truthful with each other, Ben Stiller’s last few comedies have been nowhere near funny. I guess he realized his funny bone is broken, so he is trying his hand at drama and real stories.

He told CBS Sunday Morning, “I’m not really that interested in doing that kind of stuff [comedy] now.” Then he added, “That’s just where I’m at in life.”

What he is doing is a seven-part documentary called Escape at Dannemora about a real-life prison break for Showtime. Which we can relate to because I wanted to do break free from the movie theater when I saw Zoolander 2.

Those Fockers, Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller were on Saturday Night Live!
April 15th, 2018 under Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Saturday Night Live. [ Comments: none ]

This is what I am picturing. Earlier in the week, after Michael Cohen’s office was raided, someone in SNL’s writer’s room suggested that they get Robert De Niro to play Robert Mueller. Since the Oscar winner is no fan of Donald Trump, I am pretty sure he jumped at the offer.

Sometime after that, someone suggested that they get Ben Stiller to play the disgraced lawyer. They did not only ask because Stiller looks like him, but also because they can recreate that lie detector scene from Meet the Parents.

That is exactly what they did on Saturday Night Live yesterday, and I hope both men are on speed dial to reprise their roles in the future. I cannot wait for the day when Alec Baldwin and De Niro, play Donald Trump and Mueller in a cold open. Partially because it will be funny, but mostly because the investigation is nearing the end and our national nightmare will soon be over. Although, President Mike Pence is a pretty terrifying concept too.

Could The Meyerowitz Stories be the least funny comedy movie ever?
August 15th, 2017 under Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller comedies are either hit or miss, but for the most part miss. So what happens if you pair the two of them up for a dramedy? Either a movie of theirs that is laugh out loud funny or one so awful people will leave the theaters crying in pain. Soon we will find out the answer to this question when their Netflix movie The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected), which also stars Dustin Hoffman, comes out on Friday the 13th. I think the release date says it all. Don’t you agree? Granted after watching that teaser you know it is going to be their worst films to date and that says a lot after Zoolander 2 and Jack & Jill. Should I go on?
