Before and after set pix of the Christian Bale rant?
February 5th, 2009 under Batman, Christian Bale. [ Comments: 1 ]

Before…

During…

After…

Radar Online says that the first picture of Christian Bale and the director of photography, Shane Hurlbut was taken on the set of Terminator: Salvation shortly before that now that infamous rant. It looks like in that photo, that Bale is very focused and you can almost see how intense he is about whatever he is thinking. I personally think he rant was wrong, but I know I have been at jobs where I have been yelled out almost like the Bale rant. You kind have to grin and bear it and just be thankful you are not that person that feels the need to rant like that.
And when it comes to the second picture, that is from the movie and is kind of how I picture Shane once Bale was done with him!

Christian Bale was having a f*cking bad day
February 3rd, 2009 under Batman, Christian Bale. [ Comments: none ]

TMZ
Christian Bale’s rant on the Terminator: Salvation set is probably better than any scene from the movie!
Here is what the Bruce mentioned in the video told E! News about that f*cking bad day:

Bruce Franklin, an assistant director and associate producer on the fourth Terminator film, tells E! News that Bale, a “consummate professional,” just had a bad day.
“If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove…It was the most emotional scene in the movie,” said Franklin. “And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn’t walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed.
“This was my second movie with Christian, and it has always been a good experience with him,” added Franklin, who also worked with the actor on 2000’s Shaft. “He is so dedicated to the craft. I think someone is begging to make some noise about this, but I don’t think it’s fair. The art of acting is not paint by numbers, it’s an art form. “

I think I agree with the AP because you can tell he is a very intense actor by his movies and if someone messes up the scene after long hours you can kind of understand why he lost it. But then again I think I will always have a soft spot for him in my heart.
BTW I found it interesting kept switching between his American and English accents.

Riddle me why these actors were cast for the new Batman?
December 18th, 2008 under Batman. [ Comments: 2 ]

The Sun is reporting the new Batman movie is moving forward with a a bunch of familiar names being cast as names you wished weren't in movies. Eddie Murphy has been cast as the Riddler, Shia LaBeouf as Robin and Rachel Weisz as Catwoman. Please someone explain to me why Shia LaBeouf keeps getting hired, and this film isn't a Spielberg movie? They would be better with Zac Efron as Robin. When it comes to Eddie Murphy as Riddler, it is just wrong. This just went to my must not see list, unless these castings remain rumored.

UPDATE: According to Batman-On-Film Shia and Eddie are thankfully NOT part of Batman 3!!!
xoxo Dane for the update!

Adam West brings his Bat Dance to Dancing with the Stars?
August 13th, 2008 under Batman, Dancing with the Stars. [ Comments: 1 ]

Page Six is saying that one of the names being tossed into the top hat of the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars is the original Batman Adam West!!!

He rep said, “Adam is in outstanding shape,” said a source. “He works out an hour a day and walks with his big dog on his farm in Sun Valley, Idaho.”

I hope that ABC puts him on the show because if the rumors are true that Cloris Leachman and him are doing it will be the first season in a long time that I will be really excited for the show. Now if only ABC would drop Dan Marino and Toni Braxton I would be even happier. Please please please drop Dan Marino one Miami football player is enough and Warren Sapp is much more interesting and enjoyable to watch!

Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves!!!
July 30th, 2008 under Batman, Superman/Spider-Man. [ Comments: 1 ]

Kevin VanHook, who wrote and directed Haunted Prison, The Fallen Ones and Voodoo Moon, is back doing his first love comic books. He just finished the 6-part series Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves. I am not a comic book reader and I want to run out and buy it. It has a little something for every comic book reader a little Superheroes and a some mythological creatures!
A man is killed by a mysterious creature — his body drained of blood. A woman is savagely attacked by a ferocious beast — her jugular ripped out. Bat wings flutter across the moon and the howl of a wolf echoes through the streets, for the creatures of the night have risen from the grave, and humanity's only salvation is the combined might of The Last Son of Krypton and The Dark Knight Detective. Blood will run red when Superman and Batman face off against vampires and werewolves for the fate of the entire DCU!
32 pages, $2.99, in stores on Oct. 15 and Oct. 29.
Can't wait until October to pick up Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves, run to your comic book store and buy it now in Diamond Previews.
BTW Kevin VanHook is also wrapping a documentary, Fantastic Flesh about make-up FX that is slated to air on Starz! on October 28th. Seeing what he has done with his past movies, I can't wait to see what he does with this documentary. October is Kevin VanHook's months, so make sure to support him by buying Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves and watching Fantastic Flesh!
