Back in the early ’90s Kenedi Smith’s parents met on Love Connection, dated, got married, had a daughter and now she is going to be on the Fox version tonight at 9p hoping to find love just like her parents.
Her parents are sitting in the audience and they will hear all about how the three dates that she was sent on went. Two of the three suitors were not bad, but the third one is the worst one contestants of the new version so far. You will be saying that he is a douche and he is proud of it.
Will she make that love connection like her mom and dad or will she go home alone? All I will tell you is there a surprise twist you do not want to miss.
I was expecting this show to be a bad date, but it really has made a love connection with me.
Will Ferrell was on Watch What Happens Live last week and Andy Cohen just had to know what was the real dealio for why Mariah Carey was cut out of his movie The House.
The first thing he had to know is if it is true that she showed up to set four hours late. Without hesitation, he said that was, “True!”
Then the Bravo host wanted to know if she made any script notes. Then the actor revealed that one of her script notes “was like, ‘I don’t want to do this scene.'” A scene Ferrell said she had already approved. You can see why they cut her just from that. She does not want to do the scene and they do not want to put up with bull.
On that note, the Anchorman revealed that she requested that they have stuffed lambs in her trailer in honor of her fans. Heck, if I were doing craft services that day, I would have had Gyros for lunch and lamb chops for dinner. Then I would serve it to her in her trailer and say here is your lamb, darling.
After hearing that, you cannot blame them for cutting her out of the movie. Although, after reading the reviews, she might have been the true winner in this story.
Last week, Scott Wolf and Neve Campbell were on Watch What Happens Live and Andy Cohen asked them for some Party of Five gossip. Bailey revealed that his former-TV girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt was the one who hooked up with the most fans out of all of the cast members.
But then on Saturday, he took Twitter and said, “The joke I made about @TheReal_Jlh on @BravoWWHL was absurd and obviously not true. She’s awesome, these are JOKES people. Sorry Love! Xo.” I guess Love was not showing him the love for that joke. I know, I thought it was real.
Now that we know he was joking about her dating the most fans, I wonder who was the one who seriously got it on with their fans the most? Things that make you go hmmmmm? Or should I say howl like a wolf?
Andy Cohen had a mini Party of Five reunion on Watch What Happens Live yesterday and he asked Neve Campbell and Scott Wolf to share some behind the scenes gossip.
Did you know that Bailey got it on with the nanny aka Paula Devicq when the cameras were not rolling? Or that he got the most action off camera? What about Matthew Fox being the biggest partier of the Salingers? While Jennifer Love Hewitt was the one who partied the most with the fans. I never would guessed that because she seems so innocent. Oh well, she made a lot of fans happy and that is all that matters. Granted, I am sure that Wolf’s reveal will make her feel the opposite of her middle name towards her co-star. Which you cannot blame her.
Seriously, why have they not done a revival of this drama? Besides the fact that Wolf says he is not up for one just yet. The fans would love it, don’t you agree?
After nearly 30 years of being off of the air, The Gong Show is back on ABC tonight at 10p and just as wacky, wild and bananas.
For those of you who do not know what The Gong Show is, think what if all the rejected acts on America’s Got Talent had a game show of their own. There you go. They are acts you have never seen before and you do not know why you want to see them. Yet you enjoy every one of them, even the women who is dressed as Little Bo Peep and puts a whole living tarantula in her mouth. Then there is a married couple who do weird things with bananas. Not that thing, but you will see what I mean. Or a man dressed as an ape riding around on a unicycle playing the bagpipes. It does not make sense, but it does not have to.
Each week there will be three different celebrity judges like Will Arnett (who is the Executive Producer), Ken Jeong, Zach Galifianakis, Will Forte, Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson and many more. They will judge the performers with a score from 1-10 and the winner of the night goes home with $2,000.17 and a trophy! Now what if an act is that terrible, and there are some really bad ones, they get gonged and that is why it is called The Gong Show.
As much as I love the show, I gong the host. It is hosted by Tommy Maitland who is really Mike Myers in disguise. It makes no sense to me and he adds absolutely nothing to it. If you are going to have Mike Myers host the show, then have him f*cking host the show. Plus, the makeup department screwed up and made him look like Robin Williams. For someone like me, who still cannot watch Williams’ films after his death, it is hard for me to watch Myers as Maitland looking like Williams.
Other than that The Gong Show is a hit and not a hit to the gong, so tune in for the wackiest show on television!

Did you know that when Love Connection ran before, it made 27 successful matches that lead to marriage. The Fox version is airing its fourth episode tonight at 9p, and it already has a man who gets down on one knee to ask his date to marry him. Will she say yes? I am not going to tell you. You are going to have tune in for one group of love connections that go horribly bad and another that goes the complete opposite.
I did not think I would Love Connection as much as I do, but I look forward to it every week. It is innocent fun and Andy Cohen is a great host!
Also at 10p but over at NBC, The Night Shift is back for its fourth season. Sadly, not everyone is back because they are protesting Dr. Julian Cummings (James McDaniel) buying the hospital, shutting down the ER and firing Topher. Now they are half staffed and no one is listening to him. Jordan (Jill Flint) finds ways to piss him off and she might have come up with a way to not only save the ER but also everyone’s job. Will he listen?
TJ is still in Syria and he is constant danger. He will not be getting out of there anytime soon, so he will have to fight for his life.
If that is not enough, several of the doctors will go out on a call in San Antonio and we are not sure they will get out of alive.
Translation, it is another exciting episode of The Night Shift. The show that helped to bring back medical dramas is still just as good as it always is.
