A year ago, Amy Schumer was Hollywood’s “It Girl!” But in recent months, her star does not seem to be shining as bright. So much so, she was seen working as a bell hop in a hotel elevator, so has she hit hard times? Far from it, she was just letting us know that we can see her in Atypical on Netflix.

Amy Schumer took her father and boyfriend to a Mets game yesterday and they were found by the Kiss Cam. When the movie star realized they were on the camera, she kissed her dad first and then made out with Ben Hanisch in a way only they can.
Got to love that the daddy’s girl kissed her dad first. Proving to him no matter how much she loves another man, he will always be the apple of her eye.

Amy Schumer has become a big movie star, so it might explain why she wouldn’t want to do her show anymore. Even though Comedy Central renewed Inside Amy Schumer for a 5th season earlier this year.
Yesterday, while she was Tweeting about her friend and reported writer on her show, Kurt Metzger, who recently made some distasteful comments about rape victims, she Tweeted something that shocked her fans. She said, “I didn’t fire Kurt. He isn’t a writer for my show because we aren’t making the show anymore. There are no writers for it.”
Does that mean it is over permanently? Does that mean it is on hiatus indefinitely? We don’t know because she didn’t follow it up and Comedy Central hasn’t responded. Thus, we will just have to wait and see.
UPDATE: Amy Schumer took to Twitter to clarify her Tweet. She said, “#InsideAmySchumer is not cancelled. @ComedyCentral has provided us with a wonderful home and we couldn’t be happier there. I am just touring. Doing Standup and focusing on writing more for the next year at least. We are slated for a season 5 but not in the foreseeable future.

Netflix announced today that the Gilmore Girls 4-part event will debut on November 25th. Now, we know what a lot of people will be watching on line as they camp out for Black Friday deals and get over their Thanksgiving turkey comas.
Along with announcing the premiere date, they released a new promo for the revival. In it, Lorelai asks Rory if Amy Schumer would like her. Without hesitation, the daughter tells her mom, “no.” Later explaining it is because the comedian likes to do water sports and her mother doesn’t.
The declaration got back to Schumer and she Tweeted this response, “I’ve only done 2 water sports and they took pictures of it both times. I promise I usually just lay there (sex too).” Adding, “I would love her!” So if there is a 5th part, I guess we know who is going to take a trip to Stars Hallow for some water sports.

Those inflatable pelican rafts are beautiful to look at, but they are ugly as hell to get off of. For those of us who have never been on one, Amy Schumer demonstrated that in the above how to video. There was nothing graceful about it because how can there be? You are trying to get off of something that doesn’t want to let you off, so you are basically struggling to win a losing battle.
Eventually when you are back on two feet, you can stand victorious and beautiful again. Getting to that point is something you just don’t want to see.
BTW it isn’t only getting off of it that isn’t attractive, just lying down on it isn’t always that pretty to look at too.
