On January 11, 1995, the jury was sequestered for the OJ Simpson trial and on October 3, 1995 they were finally allowed to go home. Tonight at 10p on FX’s American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson, you will get to see what they went through during those nearly 9 months.
At first they are happy to be staying at a hotel, but then they realize it is not a vacation from their lives. They are no TVs, they can’t leave their assigned floor, they can’t see their families, everything they have will be examined by the deputies and they can’t talk about the trial with the other jurors. Even the food is disgusting after a while.
With all of that to uphold to, they are starting to lose it. Little by little, one by one, jurors will be sent home until Judge Ito has has enough. What happens next will be their final straw. Which you can’t blame them because imagine if you were held against your will for the better part of a year? It is unfathomable.
Having said all of that, I really appreciate that the jurors got an episode pretty much dedicated to them since they dedicated so much time to the case. It’s interesting to see what they went through since we pretty much forgot about them. It’s great that someone remembered them and did such a great job telling their story.
And talking about the jury, am I the only person who would like to see the limited series rewrite history and find OJ Simpson guilty in 2 weeks?
Before Max Greenfield was violated on American Horror Story: Hotel, his friend wanted him to get some sexual satisfaction in Cross Bronx. He looks the same now as he did when he was 23 in that 2004 movie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NChtI2_c2M American Horror Story begins its newest chapter tonight at 10p on FX and it might be the most addictive one yet. The story this season belongs to the Hotel Cortez and it is all about sex, drugs and Rock’n’Roll with a lot of eye candy!
Iris (Kathy Bates) is the first person you meet because runs the front desk where the guests check in and they don’t check out. The hotel belongs to The Countess (Lady Gaga) and her presence is felt everywhere. Her lover is Donovan (Matt Bomer) and he loves being under her. He has ties not only to The Countess, but also to Iris and Hypodermic Sally (Sarah Paulson). Sally is a forever guest and she loves to visit the guests who are just saying for a night or two.
Those are the residents and John Lowe (Wes Bentley) is the detective who is investigating the murders that seem to happen at the Hotel Cortez more often than not. Because you can’t have an American Horror Story with murder.
The episode doesn’t start out with a murder, but there will be plenty throughout it. That is how we are introduced to The Countess and Donovan. The two of them meet a couple bring that back to their room, have their way with them and then they kill their prey. That is not the strangest death scene we will witness tonight, but it is the most erotic. What is hotter than a four way with a naked Bomer and nearly naked Lady Gaga on top?
AHS: Hotel is filled with lots of sex, lots of bloods, lots of OMG! and lots of Ryan Murphy madness, what else do you need to end your hump day? Nothing, so grab a bottle of wine and enjoy this delicacy that only American Horror Story can serve up.
Lady Gaga shared a photo of herself topless in fishnets covered in blood and I think we can all agree that she has seen better days. For her, that is saying a lot because she is the master of disguise.
So why does she look that way? She was on a break from filming American Horror Story: Hotel and wanted to let you know that the show is debuting on FX tonight at 10p. So make sure to watch or you will be her next victim.
Whomever is casting FX’s American Crime Story finally got one right. That’s because National Enquirer says that Lisa Rinna is going to play Kris Jenner, back when she was a Kardashian, in the mini-series about the OJ Simpson trial. Rinna has the right attitude to play this part, but personally I think that Three’s Company’s Joyce DeWitt looks more like her.
In case you forgot who will be playing her husband, David Schwimmer got the part of Robert Kardashian. John Travolta is going to play his partner Robert Shapiro and Cuba Gooding Jr is their client OJ Simpson.
Oh and did I mention this going to be a Ryan Murphy production? This mini-series is going to be so bad, it is going to be great!
