Prime Video released The Boys’ fourth episode of season 3 today, and they had some news to share about the series. The show will be back for another season!
“Speaking for the cast and crew, we’re so grateful to Sony, Amazon, and most of all the fans for embracing the show and allowing us to make more,” said Eric Kripke, The Boysshowrunner. “We’re thrilled to continue Butcher and the Boys’ fight against Homelander and the Seven, as well as comment on the insane world we’re living in. Also, this is the first time in history that exploding genitalia has led to further success.”
There are no exploding genitalia in the latest episode, but we get to hear Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) sing! And that is almost as good. Well, that and a fight scene that leaves someone dead and someone resurrected. Are they say the same person? You will have to stream it to find out.
The Boys are back in town on Prime Video, and they are out for blood. Well, not that they are, but the producers are, so be prepared to see it. Lots of it.
There is so much that happens, and you need to enjoy it by watching it and not me telling you about it. What I will tell you is that this season starts off a year after the last one left off.
The Boys has disbanded, but Butcher (Karl Urban) is still hunting down Supes. Hughie (Jack Quaid) has a real job, and he is still dating Starlight (Erin Moriarty), who is still part of what is left of the Seven. However, they are looking for replacements. And they might want to replace Homelander (Anthony Starr), who is losing it.
He needs to go, but how do you get rid of someone who is indestructible? You find the one Supe who can do it, even though Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) is dead. Or is he? I can’t tell you that, but I can tell you are not going to want to miss the beginning of episode 4 on Friday.
I can also tell you that the first death of the season is one you will not be forgetting anytime soon. I still can’t unsee it. So I know you want to watch it to find out what I am talking about. Well, that and to watch a show where the superheroes are the villains.
Prime Video released the trailer for The Boys’ third season, and you cannot just watch it once. Why? It is that freaking amazing. Adding evil Jensen Ackles to the mix is the cherry on top of a bloody sundae.
There is so much to absorb, and I am loving every second of it. Why isn’t today June 3rd? I don’t want to have to wait that long to watch the season premiere and two additional episodes. And then I am going to hate July 8th when they stream the season finale.
As much as I love the trailer, the cast loves it even more. To hear what they have to say about every frame, then click here!
Upload is the little show that so many people are watching, but we are not talking about it like we talk about Stranger Things or Outlander. However, that hasn’t stopped the second season from being in the Top 10 of streaming viewership since its debut on March 11th. Because of that, Prime Video picked up the series for a third season.
“Upload has become a bonafide hit that continues to be one of the most watched comedy originals on Prime Video,” said Vernon Sanders, head of global television, Amazon Studios. “The series continues to connect and provoke endless possibilities for the future of technology and humanity. With Greg’s distinct comedic take along with the dynamic creative team and talented actors, they’ve made a globally relevant series which we’re all incredibly proud to bring back another season for our customers.”
Now, we get to find out what happens when Nathan (Robbie Amell) gets what everyone in the uploaded world wants. What does that mean? That means you are one of the few people who hasn’t seen the show. So, stop what you are doing and watch. You won’t be disappointed.
People are finding it on their own, but now you are finding it because of me! So, I am starting a GoFundMe to fund my trip to Lakeview. Therefore, if you like it, you need to contribute to my trip!
Lizzo needs some dancers for her tour, so she teamed up with Prime Video to find them. Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls is the search for the next big things! And I am not talking about their weight.
The 8-episode first season starts out where we get to meet these future Lizzo dancers, and we find out why they want to dance for one of the greatest singers of this generation. Each one of them has been discriminated against because of their size, but they can move better than skinnier women.
By the end of the episode, we will find out which of the 13 will move on to her top 10. It is during this first elimination that we learn Lizzo doesn’t play by the competition series playbook. Her eliminations are unlike any we have ever seen, and she will keep us on our toes because of it.
Now that we know who is going to move on, it is time for their first competition. The contestants will have to dance to a marching band. Through this challenge, we will get to see how well they learn choreography and how much stamina they have. That is because if they get the job, they will have to dance for 90 minutes every night for several nights a week.
This elimination shows what a huge heart Lizzo has as she talks to the 10 remaining dancers. As each episode goes on, they will confront their pasts and break on through them. They will learn about self-confidence and be proud of who they are in the skin that they are in. They will be challenged mentally and physically and come out better for it.
At the end of the day, we will find out who will dance at Bonaroo with Lizzo. And at the end of that performance, we find out who will get to go on tour with her.
All I can tell you is to expect the unexpected because nothing goes as other reality shows go. Because of that, I love every minute.
Think of it as America’s Top Model, but with heart. Lizzo is the anti-Tyra Banks. She supports all of her contestants and encourages them at every step of the game. Even the eliminations are positive, and they understand why they were eliminated. And they know it won’t be the last time we see them.
We need more reality hosts like Lizzo and more shows like Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.
So stream it now because you will enjoy every second of it! And when was the last time you said that about a competition series?
