What an amazing story and what an amazing attitude he has! G-d bless him! To come back as strong as he has is just so admirable. You though Heather Mills was special with her artificial leg, that is nothing compared to Quincy who is doing it with just a metal limb. You go Quincy!
You have his CDs, you’ve chugged his vitamin water, you’ve worn his clothing but will you buy his condoms? The heavily diversified rapper 50 Cent is coming out with a line of condoms. "The kids become immune when you constantly beat them over the head — read a book, read a book," the rap star tells the New York Post. "We have to be a little more creative about it. It’s the same with safe sex. As opposed to being part of a safe-sex campaign, I’m going to make condoms and donate a part of the proceeds to HIV awareness." 50 Cent and G-Unit recently launched a line of books, with the first one called "The Ski Mask Way." The 31-year-old rap star says he plans to turn the book into a film, with production beginning next year. He says he’ll probably have a role in it, because one of the characters is based on him. No word yet on how 50 Cent’s new line of condoms will be distributed, or when they’ll hit the market.
I have to admit I was not into 50 Cent before this, but now I am fan. The guy is actually givng back to the community and not many rappers do…good for him!!!
In vegas to dj- bored coz i don’t gamble- well i do a little- but i try not to when i have too much time on my hands- it can get a little dangerous…. anyway- i dj’d a party last night to kick off grammy sh*t…. the party was thrown by people mag and red bull and the grammys…. josh kelly, five for fighting and fergie performed… josh kelly was dope and fergie did a great job- i was told it was her first solo performance….
jamie foxx kinda mc’d the event… which to be honest was really annoying- he’s funny for about 3 minutes- then it’s just self indulgent look at me sh*t…. i was on break during the shows but his annoying entourage kept telling me to play lame songs for him to joke around to- that was not the first time. he is notorious for hijacking the microphone and then harrassing the dj- it’s all planned out too which is even worse- his little butt boy comes up to me and says to play certain songs- jamie foxx will then feign modesty and then sing his part of gold digger- it’s annoying. his entrance into any space that i am dj’ing in literally strikes fear and annoyance into my heart- mainly annoyance- the fear is from wondering if people at the club will then judge my dj’ing based on his choices…. yuck!!! horrifying!!!
although i have to say there was one highlight- he was reading index cards to present the different performers and when the five for fighting guy was coming on stage he was supposed to say "phenomenal" which he actually pronounced as PUHEEEENOMENAL! wow!!
Joan Collins has seen enough of Britney’s privates. And Lindsay’s. And Paris’. Collins says it’s "disgusting" how Spears, Lohan and Hilton are going out in miniskirts without panties, knowing very well that the paparazzi will take their pictures. She says it’s "really sad that young women today need to flaunt" their privates to get attention. Collins says they’ve already shown "their front bits," so "where’s it all going to end?" Collins is out with a beauty and fashion book called "The Art of Living Well:" Looking Good, Feeling Great."
Former "American Idol" contestant and current "Dreamgirls" star Jennifer Hudson is hoping to be a role model for real-sized women. Hudson told Newsweek that she’s a size 12, while the entertainment business loves the size 2 woman. She lost weight since making "Dreamgirls," but while the movie people tell her to keep her curves, the music people tell her, "You look great. Keep losing." "Why should I feel like the minority when the majority of America is a size 12?" Hudson asked. Hudson said a lot of singers don’t sound the same when they lose weight, and she has what she called "a little singer’s pouch" and that’s where her voice comes from. "Somebody has to represent the big girls," Hudson said. "Why not me?"
